Ven is insane. He went against MKleo in pools at Kongo Saga and it came down to game 3 last stock.
Pre-Covid I think I vaguely remember MKLeo making a post that was the equivalent of "I don't want to fight any more Zelda's or Pac-Mans in bracket" or something to that effect lol

I love how so many of his viewers are shitting on Ven for playing Zelda really well simply because it's Zelda and they fail to realise that he would kick all of their asses
Sheesh, all this toxicity for so many characters. Thank god I play melee, we only have one character to hate from time to time.

I mean, That was Melee crowds reacting to Hbox using Puff when he was coming up so honestly it’s a good parallel.
As a Zelda secondary, this sucks tremendously. I get dunked for playing her but I like her. Zelda covers a lot of match-ups I'm otherwise uncomfortable with. I mainly use her aerials; I rarely use her specials compared to them. Her specials are awesome for edge guarding and ledge trapping but for me it's usually the aerials with smash attacks coming in close second. Her jab is really underutilized, though. First jab combos into Up B, which can kill at 60...
@@Spyder-Marth exactly. She gets such a bad rep because of toxic quickplay Zeldas. Her normals are low key great when used right. I actually managed to get mine to 11m GSP without pressing B

Zelda is the second coolest character in Smash Ultimate easily, and ven is super good. I'd love to get destroyed by Ven, he's insane. I don't main her but she's a fiery secondary with insane kill power and great counter zonibg
@@duke0salt717 Zelda feels the most natural for me to play. I generally like defensive zoning type characters in games so Zelda is my perfect type of character. I just don't like the bad reputation she gets

I know the reason why Zelda in Brawl and Smash 4 was Bottom Tier and that is that her Twilight Princess appearance was horrible in Melee she had an acceptable appearance and in Ultimate she has her definitive design, apart from being beautiful, she is the best version of she despite being Low Tier
Whoever I thought was saying this really looked like a clown because appearance has nothing to do with it, even so Zelda from Brawl and Smash 4 is very ugly, Zelda from Melee is ok and Zelda from Ultimate is pretty.

Thats the best way to play Zelda imo. Using her tools in conjunction with her normals to force her opponent into a punishable kill option

Nah man, Kazuya takes the cake and RUNS with it! He has literally every move Sakurai could throw at him. Kazuya has a command grab, a reflect, a stun lock, a projectile that stuns, ect. The list goes on but those are just off the top of my head.
Edit: I just remembered that Kazuya has an auto turn around that Ken, Ryu and Terry have. Yeah Kazuya is broken

ven has tournament results from as far back as 2011 in smash bros Brawl, and was also considered the best Zelda player in Smash 4. Now, they are still considered the best Zelda player in Ultimate. You're talking like ven is some new kid on the block when you say "she just got better when ultimate came out", as if ven just now started doing well for a Zelda player. How good could you be at Zelda if you don't know who ven is.
I've been playing Zelda for a while too and I think I'm decent, but I ain't gonna say I'm the best. If you don't have the tourney tags or clips to back your claims then who is gonna believe you? I sure as hell ain't because I've seen Ven play. It's clear that they understand Zelda inside and out and they have clips everywhere
