I'm thinking about going here but I will have to take classes online. I have sickle cell disease & I'm waiting on a right hip replacement b/c my right hip is collapsed so I'm iffy for those specific reasons. The school I'm at now does absolutely nothing to help me. As a matter of fact in order to return I have to pay $299 & wont get my financial aid back till I pass a math course. I was given a failure for non attendance for the 2nd time! I was in the hospital due to the sickle cell disease pain which flare ups happen once a month or so. I had even given my professor my discharge papers from the hospital. I want to do health information technology/management. Despite my health I've always been a great student so this is unfair. I feel I should be in a career by now.
I'm also considering health information technology at UMA. I'm very concerned though, due to the classes being fast paced 4-5wks. long. Please let me know what school you are at, so I won't attend. Thank you

Chrislene saint leger we have a variety of degrees that range from Associates to Doctorates, each is different in terms of the amount of time to complete.
@@goodeating5386 I was looking at the one in tampa for the accelerated program. Did they teach you how to be a good nurse? Did they want to see you succeed? I saw some reviews saying it was insanely hard because the teachers don’t care about the students, no learning takes place, and they fail everyone. I’d really love it if this was a good school so are those just bs reviews or do they have some truth to them?

If you don't mind me asking, what school are you attending? Sounds like ashworth. They said they go at your own pace though.

I think you can provide paper work so that you have proof that you were sick and they should give you a wavier
