It uses a fourth generation engine that is loud as hell, while the F23 and F22 has fifth generation engines which allows super sonic speed without using afterburners. It only reaches Mach 1.6, while other fighter jets around the world can reach above Mach 2. The vertical take idea was copied from a Russian prototype fighter the Yak141 and it can’t perform crazy maneuvers like the F22 or SU57. Plus too expensive, you can almost build 4 or 5 F16 fighters with the money for the F35.
