They are beautiful fights, unfortunately Jojo was not made to have dynamic fights because of the characters' monologues and dialogues but with this type of video you can see how a Jojo fight is well done and beautiful

Westwoods stand didn't seem like the type to take commands. It seems to automatically attack when he's in danger. Maybe if he learned to use it better he could have full control but the ability to command meteors seems busted.

Dudes straight up boxxing with stands. Also the choreography and Jolynes fighting skill are great. This reminds me of Caesar vs Whamuu in fight quality. Just goes to show that sometimes there's no complicated abilities in you opponant to think around and that even in Jojo's sometimes you just hotta straight up box.
I like the gambling one in part 3 the most, with Vanilla Ice being a close second. From part 6 I think Jumpin' Jack Flash and the frog rain are particular standouts.

I am watching part six for the first time and just got past this fight, and I think it's the most intense fight I've seen so far in jojo. It's probably my favorite because of it.

honestly other then mih fight which well uhhh KILLED her this was probably the most physically challenging fights since her wounds were so bad after she won like she had holes in her body bleeding all over and could barely move i think her most mentally challenging fight was her vs c moon since she actually had to come up with something to let her live aka the mobius strip
The fact that this is so short shows just how slow the Stone Ocean anime's fights are. I really wish they didn't stick to the "2 episodes per fight" rule so strictly, some of these episodes were so so slow I could barely watch them.

Only exceptions would be enhancement type stands that cover the body which would make the user effectively invincible to normal people or transmutation type stands that take on physical presence like Chariot Requiem. Those can be stopped or even defeated by normal people, though not in a permanent way.
How was Jolyne losing in a grappling fight if she can transform up to 70% of her body into string? Shouldn’t she be escaping these grapples easily? I guess she didn’t do her craziest stuff like become a mobious strip or fit inside of a person until later, but she had passed through jail bars and such. I guess she solved the issue okay enough by simply tearing her opponent up, but it seems like she should have tried at least
