the use of K.Rool's laugh from the DKC2 ending in place of the laugh effect from the actual song is a genius move
fun fact: the laugh is not from k.rool, he never laughs in the game, the laugh is actually from the ghost priate that chases you in the level called haunted halls.

Yeah truly. It's one of the very few ones I can put up on my hifi system without my ears bleeding, instead I'm tempted to just raise the volume as it sounds so pure. The snares feels like biting into a cracker, it's fantastic.
@@fredspipa Check out Jammin' Sam Miller's remastered OST's. They're actual remasters, not remixes, since he used most of the original hardware David Wise used.
This feels like a sky-type level. Like you're on the outside of K. Rool's airship or something, getting blown by wind and hopping across platforms with propellers on them.
All jokes and references aside, that would have been a way better final level than racing some bird.
And in the background there should be a "Windmill windmill for the land, that turns forever hand in hand..."
Nice you actually did the De la Soul part. So many people that cover this song either stop after the opening or skip the De La Soul section of the song.

I mean, I still think to some degree, by name-dropping DKC and trying to emulate it, it's still a type of nostalgia bait, but your remixes are actually, like, high quality, there's very clearly effort put in. Compared to the thousands of midi slaps that are just "x album in the x game soundfont" this stands out so much.
