Today's topic was 'Role of EHS in ESG Implementation in view of the National Safety Week - 4th to 10th March 2024'
The National Safety Day/Safety Week Campaign being spearheaded by the Council since 1971 to mark its Foundation Day (4th March). It has significantly contributed in spreading safety awareness in all sectors.
The campaign is comprehensive, general and flexible with an appeal to the participating organisations to develop specific activities as per their safety requirements.
The synergy between ESG and EHS is undeniable. Embracing ESG principles inherently leads to improved EHS performance, creating a positive feedback loop. Companies that integrate these principles not only mitigate risks but also position themselves as responsible stewards of the environment, champions of social equity, and exemplars of good governance.
As we navigate an increasingly interconnected world, the intersection of ESG and EHS is not just a corporate responsibility but a collective endeavor for a sustainable and thriving future.
