I have these in a Barnes and Noble near me. Not sure if they're in the UK, but it's basically a library for fandoms to go into. They have an entire section dedicated to Doctor Who, books, toys, etc.
these things have horrendous quality control, I've only bought two of them, and one was amy pond with two left arms and the other was the eleventh doctor who had no head. sealed from the manufacturer and no head.
Sadly it's nowhere near as popular in the States. It gets over 5 times as many viewers in the UK, and the UK only has about a fifth of the population of the USA.
Actually, in the first episode she was a kissogram. She also wears that outfit in the Christmas Carol episode when she is on her honeymoon with Rory (the guy to the right of the Doctor on the packaging).
I think it's every whovian's first instinct to stare the angels down any time they see them. I know I kept staring before realizing they weren't budging during the review ahaha
What joelymoley8 said. It's really good too. They rebooted the series a few years back, and most of those seasons are on netflix if you are interested. It's really fun to watch, and they explain enough for a new viewer to get into it if you start with season 1 of the new stuff. There aren't too many jokes or references that non-Brits wouldn't get either, so you don't have to worry about that.
i remember buying the blind bag for the Doctors. I said if I got Matt Smith I would cry cos I already had him from a previous set. I got Matt Smith...this one just looked much, much cheaper.
I found out about these at a Mark's and Spencer's, which prompted me to look into Doctor Who Lego, effectively, which then led me to buying a nice little TARDIS set that came with Amy and the Doctor, and then I bought those very nice Weeping Angels, because they are my absolute favorite Who monster, being the very first I was introduced to, and what got me into Doctor Who in the first place Basically, a good alternative to buying the Lego Ideas Doctor Who set, because its so expensive
When I saw the weeping angels and I saw Ashens put the pack perfectly obscuring them I kept waiting for a jump cut where he lowered it and they'd moved.

You have to keep in mind as well that Doctor Who is pretty old now. The people who watched it are older now and many of them are, undoubtedly, millionaires or better. So for them £100 is pennies. Or maybe some rich kid was disappointed they didn't get it and the parent bought it for them. Or something else.

I'd like to collect those but around here (Ontario Canada) I've only seen them in a couple of stores and they're about $4.99 each. I'm not paying $5 for little plastic lego-esque thing. And then risking wasting another $5 on a double.
MarbleHornets didn't make slender man. A user of the somethingawful forums did for a contest that involved taking a picture that's perfectly normal then making it creepy in someway. And the entire thing happened during the year of 2009. I have known about slender man for a few months but at least i did some research on him/it.

That pretty much sums up my opinion on Doctor Who. It's one of the only shows I constantly watch, despite very rarely actually enjoying it.
