"Mark Turner takes a break from his early 90s desk job to answer fan submitted questions"
Where is that shot?! :D
Lol
He surely is the Obi-Wan Kenobi of Jazz.
It is wonderful to hear you speak about your ideas and thoughts about music . Thank you.
Thank you for doing this!
ALEX CAZET!
Lester Young >Charlie Parker >John Coltrane >Michael Brecker >Mark Turnerthe most influential in each generation
chris potter??
Joel Steinke Chris is fantastic, a monster..but it is less original...Turner> a new aesthetic school
Chris Potter is very important but I do think Mark has more underlying influence on everyone.
Id say Kenny Garrett is the most influential of this generation.
I heard you play your approach about building a solo in the video where you play with Joshua Redman at the JAzz Club in Vincentia in Italy where you played stablemates. Great solo!
This is awesome, thanks so much!
Thank 💜 You LOVE..
Why was this filmed from the reception of a doctor's surgery?
Bryant Gumbel is full of great jazz info !!Awesome job Mr Gumbel !
You, me, and 1 other get that (old!!) joke, but he reminds me of Stanley Jordan. Also, Data from Star Trek.
Why do it from a dentistry?
yan yan to you all
Where can I find "vol. 1"?
Hey @calebpitman5550 try here: th-cam.com/video/6ScN4FISqnU/w-d-xo.html
Let me know if it works as it may have been flagged for copyright as there is a song of Mark’s in the bg
That's why jazz sucks now because everything is so university
I agree with Trumpet Boss. The academic musician killed Jazz. Then government budgets killed music in schools/academia.
Jazz sucks!!!?? What planet are you on? Who are you listening to? Is it that you suck? Stop hating.
let’s hear u play jacky’s place bro
