Join my program, Transform Flipper Academy, to learn to flip houses the right way. As a house flipper of 7 years, I've flipped over 60 houses with a six-figure profit on average. I teach my students the ins and outs of house flipping and many of them have already made a 6-figure profit. Apply here:

LOVE craftsman homes! I hope you can implement some warmth and charm into the remodel-as a home buyer in the Bay Area, I’m getting so turned off by the cold gray/stark white modern interiors of flipped homes

Ok I LOVE THIS. So excited to see it “naked” where see see the house de-remodeled. Back to the roots. Beautiful. Can’t wait to see it finished.

Thank you for this episode, there was such a jumble of rooms, doors and spaces I had trouble foreseeing the layout you described, and that is usually my strong suit! It will be beautiful and comfortable when finished

Those incredible beams in the ceiling, revealed! What a surprise! I love everything you've done so far and the "ugly and colorful" addition is gone. Relief. One thing that strikes me about this house is how small it appears from the street, yet it is almost cavernous in its scale. I wish the bathrooms were bigger but the kitchen is going to be awesome in the new, open space. The backyard is a challenge with all that concrete. Definitely remove a bunch of it and add some green. Honestly, Elisa, I cannot wait to see this one. Also, I think you will get a huge price for it. Fingers crossed.

Please return the beams to a dark wood and not green. 😅

might have to keep them painted, I didn't see other preserved wood finishes.......but white would be better

Bummed the shelves were removed, couldve been restored instead of adding new, that v-board in the back isn't made anymore, my shelves around my craftsman fireplace are amazing to have. I'm sad you removed the builtin in the dining room, more people are liking having the separation of kitchen and dining and leaving that in you could've still made a more open kitchen with more creativity... removing such an integral part of a craftsman is a shame. Did you take the built in to a salvage yard or just throw it in the dump like so many flippers do nowadays? Those are irreplaceable... The built in furniture is what craftsmans are about and although you exposed the beamed ceiling you took away what's more special and irreplaceable for craftsmans, now there's no personality left in the house.
I see the picture rail has been pulled out too, the craftsman style of picture rail is much different than modern picture rail, only Economy Lumber sells that old style.
Are you keeping the original trim and replicating it on the new doors and windows? Please take all the windows, trim, doors, hardware youre not using to Urban Ore or a salvage yard.
The old house wasn't pretty but those past tenants honored the house and had left what made it special.
