I've cleaned a bathroom that looked like this before too. It was for a friend whom I didn't know had such severe depression, because I hadn't been to his apartment before. We're gonna get some clean-up stuff rn and then fix your mess.". He almost cried and after we were done cleaning, he really did cry and I got us some drinks and snacks while he basked in his fresh bathroom. I understand why you do this, it feels good for both you and the other person. Also, it immensely helps the other person, the joy in their eyes afterwards is...there are no words. Update (sort of): Gosh, thank you guys for the appreciation!!❤ I wasn't expecting this at all, because it isn't a big deal to me lol. I'm glad though so again THANK YOU!!❤ To everyone who says this is a lie: No, it's not. When you care about someone, you do things like this to help them, it's not a big deal and doesn't hurt anybody. Actually it helps both parties. Edit: Many people have asked for the cleaning materials I've used. I use scrubbing milk (from Viss), rub it in with a cleaning brush, let it sit a few minutes, then if possible rinse with water or wipe with a wet(!) clean cloth. After that I use a wet sponge and rub all-purpose cleaner (from Frosch or Sagrotan) over the spot, then wipe with a clean towel/cloth to dry it. That's usually all it takes. Also it's important to check if the cleaner is compatible with the materials you use it on, because some metals can corrode from the chemical ingredients. And PLEASE wear gloves to protect your skin from the chemicals! A tip if you're a little lazy when cleaning: Prepare your favorite drinks and snacks and drink them while you're cleaning or afterwards as a reward for your effort. Your brain will associate cleaning with positive emotions and it keeps you going in the beginning! With time you'll like cleaning up because of the reward system in your brain. 😃👍
I just have to say it, I hate that our bathrooms aren't designed like this in the USA. Our bathrooms need to have drains on the floor and a nice hose to spray down the bathroom. Cleaning would go so much faster and everything would be so much cleaner!

i have seen so many people question if this is real. Humanity is so sad that they can’t even believe one single person helps a stranger in need. My boyfriend is depressed and I have helped him through tough times and we are almost through! Meaning he is becoming happier and confident. The reason I have changed him was with support and love. Me just being there brightened his day according to him. Humanity is so sad they can’t believe one poor soul. This is why the human race will go extinct. Thank you so much for helping! Many “Younger” people don’t understand how hard it is for an elderly person with physical problems - bad knees, arthritic joints, etc. - to do a good cleaning job on bathrooms. It’s hard to even get motivated sometimes when a person is hurting.

This reminded me of my grandma’s place. Me and my mom decided to clean her kitchen that was cluttered and I remember scrubbing her kitchen wall full of grease and dirt that was not cleaned for years. As someone recovering/ still going through a major depressive episode, it’s been wonderful to watch you help out people like me who are too sick or unable to fulfill their own basic needs. My rooms looked much like the ones you commonly show, and recently I’ve been trying to get that under control and you’ve been my inspiration! I now have it contained to a “one mess pile” as I call if. And that for me is easier to clean up and deal with then a nasty living environment. Oh my god this drives me NUTS there’s a drain in my apartment bathroom floor but it’s useless because it’s NOT CONNECTED TO THE PLUMBING. Every time the apartment above us has a shower clog we know it bc water will start coming out of our ceiling.

Such an amazing transformation. Only issue I see with certain cleanings for bathrooms is a lot of places don't have tile or you can just wrenched things down a lot of places are linoleum so it will be hard to rinse and wash and scrub is good as you could do

💯!! Yes she needs protection asap! If she is choosing to do something this unhealthy that’s on her, but it sets a bad example for the people watching this! Black mold spores are a neurotoxin and can cause severe asthma and increased cancer risk. Also if she’s just using soap and water it will come right back on that grout, you need to use something with a chemical that kills the spores and can help prevent regrowth.
I love what she does it touches my heart but I'm having a very hard time watching her lately. She just refuses to wear a mask and I just can't keep watching her
