Thank you for the kind compliment! I got the ceramic tree from Target (of course! 😉) It was an ornament and they had them in green and white. I believe they were $6 each? I also saw pretty much identical ornaments at Walmart.

you are so creative. I managed to find someone in Australia with the gingerbread house and im so excited to make it using your tips and awesome idea. I just went to a local electronic supply store and they had already wired leds ( was a mystery on the color till i checked with a battery, thankfully yellow) button switches and a AAA battery holder for about $5. thankfully i also work at an electronic company so on my lunch break I can use their soldering iron and heat shrink
