Your video clarified a few things for me too. I am close to pulling the tub off my CJ7 to get it sandblasted and go from there. Since it's just me, I work on it when I can.
@@user-nq5rd4ck5z Both of mine will see the bulk of what powdercoating they need to suit me. The CJ7 will need to be rewired and the blown engine replaced.
I just got a 1979 cj-7 with a 258 and the last year with the old school 3 speed tranny the body and frame are in good shape for a jeep thats spent it's life in maine needs some work but a good base to start from looking forward to watching your rebuild as I do mine GREAT STUFF KEEP IT UP!!
I'm glad you are converting it to manual, that is something I just love in my jeep. Are you building this to be a classic looking jeep or do you plan to build it more geared toward off roading? Either way, I can't wait for more videos!
I'm really just fixing and finishing the last build. It has some nice pieces. It just leaks and squeaks. I'm guessing it was last built 15 or 20 years ago.
Nice job.... quick, no video production filler crap.... straight and to the point and going to really help me on my 84 CJ.😀
Jeep On!

Cool. I would love to have two so I could drive one while I worked on the other. Jeep On!
@@user-nq5rd4ck5z I have two. One AMC and one Willys. Neither driveable. Typical Jeep products according to a few relatives.
@@TysonNeil Just moved mine to the back corner of the garage for winter projects. Nothing major. Seat belts, ignition switch, maybe gas guage.
