- In this video I show how to hand sew the top and under collar and I also show the finished jacket. I visit another True Bespoke Tailor, Simon Skottowe, while on vacation in Budapest. www.rudolfpopradi.com
Rudolph, your hand-stitching is absolutely first-class. I'm envious of the training you had, plus the skills you developed. You were born to do this kind of work. I'm so happy to know there is a bespoke tailor with your skills in Canada. How refreshing. I also love the storefront of the bespoke tailoring shop in Budapest - a reflection of the classy stores that survive and thrive in Europe, while we don't have enough of these places in Canada and the USA.
I could watch you sew for hours. Such a rhythmic flow. The end product is as much art as it is a garment.
Cheers from Saskatchewan
Thank you G Man for your comments. So wonderful to see that my video's are being seen from all parts of Canada and further. You are my first comment from Saskatchewan. My next video will be about cutting and marking with an absolute amazing fabric. Quite excited since this suit will be mine. Even a tailor needs to look dashing. Thanks again and keep watching! Regards Rudolf
Sadly I feel this beautiful art is dying. One day I aspire to make a suit. Truly beautiful.
Cheers from Australia.
Always a pleasure to see work of this standard.
Thank you
Hi my nema is Deepak khita my nepile
The authenticity and simplicity of these videos is awesome. No fancy gimmicks for clicks whatsoever. And the craftsmanship is outstanding
Holy moly I could watch this over and over and see more. I am a bespoke dress designer. Have a fabulous holiday
Hello Michelle, thank you for your comments. I hope to have a new video out in the New Year 2020. Happy Holidays
Thank you,Rudolf for the greatest show of bespoke suits. I really love and appreciate your bespoke suits making! You’re the best tailor in the world!
All those imperfections in stiches makes the suit perfect.
The sewing is so relaxing. Beautiful work...you always choose great colors and patterns.
It's very cool that true craftsman are out there keeping old world quality alive in the age of mass production, keep up the good work!
I love watching masters at work making wonderful quality items of their craft.
I love sewing, but my skill is somewhere in the low moderate level.
Beautiful work, amazing skill, and such a passion for quality. Thank you for sharing.
please be willing to visit our TH-cam channel
Popradi, absolutely masterful work. I must commission your work sometime shortly after this Pandemic ends
Excellent craftsmanship. That 3 piece suit looks superb. One day I hope to go in and get fitted for a suit. Amazing work Mr. Popradi.
Hello Arturo thank you for your comments. Happy Holidays.
Thank you Rudolf! It was a pleasure to have you in the shop.
I can't stress enough how helpful your video was. I ripped some machine stitches apart and redid them your way. The result is perfect, it was slow, but not difficult at all. Thank you, and I hope for more videos to come.
That's funny you are a joker
This is a piece of art and unfortunately a dying art! It takes about 80-100 hrs to make a fine Bespoke suit, yet people cry their hearts about paying $3,000 odd for a piece of art such as this (Minus the fabric, construction materials it works out to $15-20/hr which is really very reasonable). Rudolf, this is amazing! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Right on the mark. You won't get rich becoming a Tailor but the satisfaction that I receive from my clients when I make something beautiful makes me very happy. Nice to know that people understand how hard a tailor works and can also do the math.
True bespoke. True art. Beautiful handwork.
Absolute precision work. Thank you!
You are such an inspraion for the young generation I wish that you demonstrate how the patterns are drafted we will aprtiaot you very much
Thank you for your videos Rudolf! Hope you will make another one in the future when you find the time 😊 Drawing the pattern and cutting the fabric sounds like an exiting topic for a video!
Beautiful work. Hope to see more videos in the future.
Great back collar stitching. Really nice.
Absolutely magnificent work. Thank you Rudolf for yet another wonderful video.
I'm really excited to see you mark and cut the base fabric! I'm interested in learning tailoring. I've been knitting for 20 years and there are limitations to knits.
Absolute Quality Work..! I will someday own a True Bespoke suit.
I bow to your craftsmanship!
Absolutely Fantastic.
Superb! Thank you Rudolf for sharing these beautiful techniques of the true bespoke craft. Looking forward to seeing more!
Thank you for your comments. If there is something special you would like to see, always looking for ideas for my next video. Cheers!
Rudolf Popradi One thing I would be very interested in seeing is how you attach your sleeve head to the suit and how the shoulder padding is attached. I’ve seen how they do it in factory made suits but never by hand like true bespoke. I really enjoy seeing your handwork!
I second that, the shoulder is interesting? Also wonderful content as usual!
It's very good his work, i really want to watch news videos about it. I'm very excited!
Wonderful work thanks for the lesson.
Love watching your video's it's amazing how hard and how much work you put in to one suit.
Thank you for your comments. 80 hours of hard work goes into a True Bespoke suit and for that reason it last a long long time. Luckily I love what I do so it is a work of passion.
I love hand sewing, and I love watching how your hands are handling the fabric as you sew. If only I could send a mechanical fly to your wall with a camera set to focus on needle movement.
What a great tailor you are!
Thank you. I always aim to be the best.
Made to perfection. Amazing work.
Amazing so glad he shared this video with us. True talent.
Popradi , sarto bravo.
That suit looks beautiful. I want to learn how to do this
Thank you for sharing your art!
Sei l'eccellenza assoluta, grazie mille per i suoi video sei unico👏👏👏👏
Are you in Canada, if so can you teach your beautiful art of craftsmanship for someone that has a sincere passion for quality tailoring?
Just by watching your videos I was hooked on sewing, searching for materials to learn, read, watch..it's really a pleasure to watch such a craftsmanship in these days :) would like to learn it myself..
Do you like to do everything by hand or on what parts do you use the machine?
Greeting from Slovenia ;) your welcome to visit next time when you're in Hungary :)
Mesmerized by your passion )))
Passion is what you need in all we do. Without passion comes no joy.
Mesmerizing work! Would you please share what type of thread/weight and size of needle you use? I’m studying your technique as you snap that thread thru so smoothly. Any advice would be appreciated as I am planning a special jacket project for myself this winter with a length of fine cashmere I bought in Scotland. Thank you.
Hello, Rudolf! This video is amazing. How I wish that you could create more videos. Perhaps you could make a series of videos that shows the end to end process of making bespoke suits. I have been trying to look for those types of videos but I haven't found any.
Your work is wonderful. Is it possible for you to teach online course? I would love to sign up
clothing fashions provide comfort in meetings. this gives us a mood to try. and don't forget to respect ourselves from the results that have been done. if I had this chance. for patience to produce a good suit without a machine.

👍Absolutely awesome. No video posted from you in a year. Please tell me you will continue posting videos. 🙏 I hope I can commission a bespoke women’s suit one day. 💞

Your needle is so fast that, on video cam, it looks curved as it goes through. Fooled me at first!
tudom hogy magyar a mester. bármelyik percben el tudom képzelni, hogy megszólal magyarul is.
I am a tailor i know how to sew suits
You don’t need to use this ridiculous buzz word “bespoke” - just call it a “handmade” suit.
