Hi Clara, Thanks for your comment. accelly, they didn't add any extra boards. Np, it was always every 10 feet a part, so sad what happened to this family. Hopefully, everyone who goes there they can be safe and know their limits, so we can still have more time to enjoy this amazing cable trail to Half Dome
