Oooo Staceman, its amazing! I can totally understand why i couldnt go under trees and stuff before, sure the box goggles did good, the scouts had alot of range, but this is something else man!
Thanks for your advise mate, its been pooring down almost every day for a 5 weeks, so i had to try the goggles, i could never have flown in a small space like that before, there awsome, i know whats comming next haha, hdmi :)

Yes Sir, i flew with fatshark scouts for 2 years, they were good goggles, but i could never fly near objects or under trees.
now with these Skyzones with the setup, im blown away!
It may not be the most freestyle video but its the best fun i had for ages racing round that !

It would be better to ask someone that uses fatsharks, but i think you can use the new v3.3 module with fatsharks

The only thing i dont like is the dvr shoud have an option to have the mix % showing as i havnt time to look at it, but people that have that brightness any higher than 6-7 have gotta have arc eye, it goes up to 15, wow
Definitely a little confusing. I ended up with a steadyview X but then later grabbed some 04 goggles, but the 04O's not the 04X's. I figured same thing but just crappier. It's the receiver firmware I don't really get, and these goggles seem to only have one version themselves. I'm over here trying to put the steadyview X minus the ground station module into the goggles just to see if there is any difference..
When I use RF normal in the goggles settings I don't seem to get any mix modes working right. It just all looks like regular diversity no matter the setting. I can tell because in mix modes using my caddx cams, there is rolling when I switch between different cameras. If I set the goggles to steadyview X (using the included module), I then get the mix modes working like they should. But then I can't power the goggles in steadyview X mode with the included receiver, I have to power it in RF normal then actually switch to steadyview x mode. It's weird. Since I got these 2 receivers now I was hoping I could also do quadversity but it's sounding like there is going to be a firmware issue trying to use the receiver included with the goggles alongside the steadyview x (inserted as a module).
Yep, its gonna be confusing with the older goggles but same thing!
I personally just dont trust any mode mix now and just use diversity with two lollipop style antenas and when flying at range use a parch and omni.

@@rcaddict9558 That's wild. It looks like some of the bad browning I momentarily get in mixed mode when it's trying to sync to a new feed, but yours basically stayed that way. I'm second guessing these goggles anyway. I mean analog is cool but damn my dji goggles v2 are basically blowing these skyzones away in every regard except for video out. They feel about $200 too expensive. And honestly cheap box goggles have given me the best visual experience even compared to these oleds cause the screen is so damn small (but I guess the 04X's are way bigger).
I got both of my modules appearing to work where I have 4 signal strengths but not in diversity mode yet. I think I'll just stick to div also because the mix mode needs that sync beep or whatever and I end up losing that long before I completely lose signal.
@Magneticitist in my view now, its diversity, the oleds in the goggles are amazing but mix mode 1 2 and 3 just means, trouble 1, 2 , and 3 now, check this runcam image at dawn in diversity, and this is 2 vas ion long stems, so this is what im sticking too! I fly out 1000 m and over water, in that video, you couldnt see anything in the screen, dvr picked up more!

I had diversity fatscouts for 2 years and i have a bad habbit of looking at the ground, they never failed me, only broke up at 1000 m so i figured, just keep diversity on
Alright mate how's you. Another banger of a tune. The weather been pure piss up here in Glasgow so I've only been out once in week's. I've still got frisky taranis x9d (original not plus) if you were going to buy a different controller what would buy if you were me. I'd like to move up to ELRS but I'm just not sure what to do. Nobody around me fly's so I'm still trying to find my way any help would be well appreciated

im in the same boat as you, i dont know anyone who flies near me, only online, but i flew helis for 15 years before.
so im gonna say the radiomaster tx16s or the boxer, my friends got the boxer and loves it, elrs ofcoarse.
But he came from a smaller zorro so it may seem big to him, but the radiomaster t16s is amazing for the money, the v2 with elrs or if your crossfire then it has a module bay for all.
im gonna say the radiomaster t16s, get the cnc handle and the leather side grips, it makes it feel really nice!
When i flew helis a specktrum ix12 colour screen was 800£ ,yes it feels a bit better made, but the t16s is 200.

p.s dont ever put your radio in your rucksack with loose stones and sand, cause if it gets stuck in the gimal, its scary as hell :)

Fpv ,building drones etc is a lifestyle and when i looked through those goggles the first time i flew high and saw how beautifull things looked! Sounds soppy, but i get that buzz everytime man!

If thats what you are saying, i totally agree , i had a pair of fatshark scouts and the box google scouts with the immersion rc antenna are an amazing pair of goggles, very good reception, and i love rushfpv, i have the tank solo in one of my drones with a trueRC antenna.

These Skyzone o4x v2 latest ,its mad, you can see everything, the brightness goes to 15 and 5 is bright enough.
