I’m currently looking into vocaloids because I have a project in the works that involves adiotronic characters, ect, and I want to give them the voices they have in my head. I’m already animating them - giving them voices is another step down the road, I think, to them coming alive.
I’ve seen the President Ai videos here on TH-cam and I want to experiment with something similar...except with Vocaloid. No one’s made videos of Miku and the gang making a tier list or gaming videos so I’m capitalizing on that
this is really neat!! do you have tips about the actual voice synth part? it seems really arduous in my head to try and get the speed variation of real speech to sound fluent or intelligible in synth speech haha.
Most of the time I just listen to the words I say longer or shorter when I speak. Then I will replay the talkloid many times and tweak it until it sounds right. It's kind of hard to teach, it's mostly about listening for words that drag on too long or mush together and find out what works. Sometimes I go into parameters like velocity to adjust how fast a consonant is pronounced or rearrange the lyrics/phonemes (like typing "eh free" instead of "every") and that can get rid of the synth corniness. If you'd like a tutorial on that, I can definitely arrange that

@@PupsIsMyDog I usually type "ev ree", then I don't really have to go in and phoneme edit it, because "ev" and "ree" are both in the Voclaoid dictionary for some reason
(I am pretty late but this might help others) First make sure that you are in the english version of the Vocaloid you are using Then you will clean CTRL+R to invert lyrics with their sound Now all you have to do is found the sound that corresponds to the world you want to write (you can do this by cleaning Lyrics -> User Word Dictionary -> English, and they typing the word you want turned into Sounds. Then copy and paste it on the note) This is pretty time consuming, but it is the only way i found how to go around that problem (If you have found anything better please let me know)

I once had my first Vocaloid program installed and when I first used Prima, I figured out that note-bending is the key to a better talkloid.
Thanks for making this tutorial! I plan on downloading Synth V soon and I MAY make talkloids but who knows

help me this is my first time using vocaloid4 and i have "miku v4 english" and all she can say is u changing the lyric doesnt work☹️
