Wanted to drop a shout out to the no rolls barred crew for introducing me to blood on the clock tower, now my coworkers and I play afterwork twice a week and it's absolutely brilliant.
COMPLETELY forgot that a pit-hagged grandma gets a grandchild and the whole "dies if X dies" rule so I was very confused for a moment! Excellent game though, the shenanigans were truly exquisite!
Grolen gambling Gambling as Ballooonist and dying is game-solving, as it reveals Gambling was the drunk and Emma was not the Sweetheart in a Vigor game due to Outsider count. I wonder if Gambling questioned if he was drunk.
Can’t believe I just found out about clock tower this past month or so through smosh and now nrb and finally this. The content is good been spamming videos all this month. One minor recommendation is I tried watching this as a new player and couldn’t follow until I watched quite a bit. Now I pretty much can follow everything well. The way you make the game digestible in nrb helps a lot. If you were able to have some explanation of the roles filmed in separately at the beginning I think it would make your content just as digestible. You can put time stamps on the video so people can skip who do know. Anyways keep it up
Glad to hear you're enjoying our various videos across multiple channels! It's worth noting that you're commenting on a video that is over two years old, so there isn't a great deal we can do to alter it at this point. The newer videos do have timestamps on them though, so hopefully you'll see the quality of life stuff improves as the videos get more and more recent. They're all edited from Twitch livestreams, so a lot of the higher quality editing on NRB (where we have multiple cameras and perspectives as well as much more time to run the games) aren't going to be possible on this channel, but I hope you'll continue to enjoy them as you get more used to the various characters. - Ben
I don't see anyone else addressing this, so... Execution for breaking madness counts as the one execution allowed per day (according to the almanac). If this is wrong, I would like to know why. I also don't know if a night exec for this has a limit (if a Cere-mad and a Mutant are execed at night, for example.) The almanac states that this happens immediately, if madness is broken at night (and of course, if the ST so desires). It seems that this could also count for the once-a-day limit. One solution is to wake everyone, just to put them right back to sleep, and let the demon kill again, etc. I don't know how it's supposed to be handled, though.
can you give me an example of how someone could break madness at night? I'm not familiar with all the roles and I'm confused. apart from Lil Monsta minions choosing who to hold the demon (and they're not supposed to talk, only vote), I can't think of any roles that talk to anyone in the night phase except the storyteller and from my understanding you can't break madness to the storyteller?
@@moth.03 Many Storytellers allow limited discussion at night, if players don't reveal what is happening during the night. Before Cerenovus moves their madness to a different player, or after the new target learns they are mad, either one or the other is "mad" and cannot tell anyone without a likely penalty - execution. Mutant must also remain mad in the night, or face the possibility of execution. I've seen players woken up and immediately told someone is executed, and to go back to sleep. I think multiple executions at the end of the night is the way to handle it, but only one execution should occur in the day.
the storyteller could wake everyone up and immediately execute, or they could let the day happen, wait for everyone to come back to the town square, and execute as soon as nominations would open@@darbyl3872
I have been made mad as Mutant before as the Artist in SnV - played it off as having role swapped with an Artist Day 1 and outing myself, before cursing at seeing the storyteller in vc. It worked, was able to out day 3 and reveal Cere
Just wondering with the pit hag can you change someone into any character or does it have to be on the script? Because it would be really funny to make your demon turn into a bad moon rising demon in a sect's and violence game.
As awesome as it would be to be any character, the pit hag is too OP as it is and that would be nuts. Also I would change my other minion into the atheist and nom the ST the next day.

Newb Rules question. Why did Ben poison himself when becoming the widow? How did that not prevent him from seeing the Grim? Is he not now poisoned for the rest of the game?
A Widow sees an accurate Grimoire and *then* chooses who to poison, so poisoning themselves won't give them a wrong/bad Grimoire. Seeing as the Widow only sees the Grimoire on the first night, poisoning themselves isn't so bad. It means that the Widow forgoes the opportunity to poison a townsfolk, however with the Widow poisoned it means there won't be a good player that learns a Widow is in play - the evil team will know every role, and no one on the good team gets a heads-up that this has happened. - Evin

Gambling as evil player was an option, too. And they didn't know it was a vigor game, that's the point of Emma using an outsider bluff.

I thought there can be only 1 execution per day? Why are they saying that there could be a second execution with Nicky breaking Madness?

How do the minions have abilities after death?
vigormortis abilities, killing their minion keeps the minions abilities still work even they're dead
