The song wasn't for revival fam he made it for the movie venom which is crazy because the actor Andrew who plays venom Tom Hardy is a huge fan of Eminem so the fact that he did this song was pretty f****** cool and it is a pretty good song and who else would you want doing a soundtrack for one of the coolest freaking anti-heroes none other than the goat himself 😊

The Revival album from 2017 was met with a lot of hate by podcasters like Budden, Lord Jamar, etc and Em felt it was unfairly judged bc they were talking ish about it before it was even released bc of the features on it and song titles. The album is actually really good lyrically and he talks about real life and world issues on it but the production and beats were trash bc he had someone not named Dre or himself produce it. So he came back with the Kamikaze album to diss anyone who said anything negative about him. This song is a double for his music representing venom that gets into people bc his music spread like wildfire when he came out and represents the movie Venom too(the symbiote)
Yeah im glad Rick Rubin hasn't been involved with his recent albums. Not a good fit together imo. His recent beat selection has been way better, but I don't think we'll ever see the absolute magic Dre and him achieved production wise in his first 5 albums
Venom/Shady Venom is a alien symbiote the can only survive earth living in a human. Kinda like Shady inside Em, Venom needs to eat every now and then so does Shady, Shady affects everyone who listens 😂, in the fall video Em says you wanted Shady you got him, prior to the kamikaze and after revival everyone was saying they missed the old Em/Shady the give no shit angry Em so many of the songs now Em goes in and refers to himself as Shady, Fans got what they wanted, stay blessed Kezzy
Also, to add to this. I always took it as a double. Shady/venom being passed around because he needs to, to live, but also, every time he connects to someone, they start wilding out. I took it as a shot to the media/haters/parents that always attacked him, acting like any and every kid who listened to his music was gonna become crazy and unmanageable. Like his music was the devils work lol. That's just how I interpreted it.

Revival was the previous album that "flopped" even tho it went platinum. There's a line on the album somewhere that says somethin to the effect of platinum sales being looked at as a failure. Theres multiple bars about how revival flopped cuz he was too focused on the message and not enough on the music so kamikaze is Em not giving a fuck again and just ripping every critic. They say thats a bad PR move to respond to critics because you're validating them, so thats why the whole album is called kamikaze. He didn't care if it flopped. This time, he was gonna take shots at mfs on the way down.

Venom was the last track on Kamikaze after Revival which he mentions a few times in this Diss tracks on Kamikaze and how he "took an L" on his last album. maybe cos I heard it part of the movie it dosnt hit right. rest of Kamikaze I realy liked, but this feels out of place in it all.

I have no problems with you rewinding, playing the same part multiple times, Eminem layers so many meanings & rhyme schemes, it's impossible to pick it all up on the first listen.
what I do have a problem with, is you're listening to a man with possibly the biggest vocabulary in the game & the best you can come up with is repeating "no cap" 1500 times per video. take a lesson from Em, crack open a dictionary, a thesaurus or something & come up with something better, for the love of god
