Great video's bro and im learning a lot! Received it yesterday i thought i would make some sounds but was so blown away by all the features and settings that it took me a while to get something done. Do you know by any chance if the stock sounds will stay on the machine when i record over them or do i need to do a backup first? Because i dont want to delete them if i cant restore it by a factory reset.
@@AlexanderDivineEmcee Thank you for the reply! And it seems indeed that the stock samples are locked from any editing but can be removed with a special button combo at boot so its good to know that its protected.
Hi bro, I have a question. I saw that it is possible to use the sounds of my Sp404mk2 by going on the E/J banks in koala mode, but is it possible to use the effects of the Sp while in this mode ? How can i do that ? Thanks!
Yes. It depends on your method of recording. You can use Koala fx into the SP or SP Fx into Koala. Whatever effects you set on the master bus 3/4 will be recorded in. Also you can set a pad on Bus 1 or Bus 2 and record into that pad. Also there is the Shift + EXT Source gives you input settings to record into the SP.
These 2 together are really dope!
Your chair sounds like proper hi hat roll :D
😆 I need to sample that then! Great find!
How are you using the 404 as a controller connected to the iPad , when you are using the power cord plugged into the iPad ?
@@deebaker4671 the usb-c on the SP404 is being powered by the iPad. Koala mode in the SP404 is compatible.
@@bjamminsincebirth3494 So your iPad stays charged ?. That is the issue I am having, my iPad eventually looses it's charge.

I think it would probably be wise to create a backup
They are stored internally so you can get them back but I think you need to do a factory reset to do that
