I’m just going to say it, I’m not even two minutes in yet.. but in regards to you talking about the work week in your life vlog thing, I’m sure everyone, obviously myself included wants to see your reading plans and such too during that week, but I’m sure many others would also still happily accept a video with minimal to no reading in it. We all, i think I can collectively say we like you, the person, as well as your book thoughts, we like you too... and so just a “regular” vlog with you just hanging out showing an honest work week in your life, books, no books... all the books, whatever.. I’m still so down!
I had an ARC of Merciful Crow and I loved it so much I preordered it! I really loved that it wasn’t info-dump-y - I love being thrown into a world and having to figure out what’s going on as the plot clips along. I read a lot of ARCs and new releases and soooo many fantasies this year have 100-150 page info dump expositions and they draaaaaag. Merciful Crow throws you in - the first line is about cutting throats! - and keeps you moving. There is a second book - it comes out in July!

Absolutely OBSESSED with joker, so dark and hauntingly beautiful depiction of mental illness, and joaquins acting is amazing. I've seen it three times and hopefully one more hahaha it's an issue

I've been in such a slump as well. I haven't finished a book in over 3 weeks. The Beautiful was going to be the next book I pick up and it's just been sitting on my desk for 3 weeks and I'm having a hard time picking it up, especially cause one booktuber said that the beginning is a little bit slow, but once you said it was giving you vampire diaries vibes, I was like, "now I definitely need to pick this up" lol. I love TVD and I love all the spin-offs and when I first heard this book is vampires set in New Orleans in the 1800s, I immediately thought of The Originals. I still miss Klaus! 😭 Ok, you've convinced me, I need to go read this book today. 😂

Trust me when I say this, you DO NOT want to finish The Vampire Diaries. It ended after season 4 and you can't tell me otherwise. 5x11 was a bonus episode for Klaroline, but it didn't continue after season 4. Matilda barking in her sleep was adorable and hilarious.

I saw the ‘Joker’ and just like you, i did not enjoy watching the movie. But I ended up loving the movie; once I started thinking more about it. Purely because of the dark message it portrays; it can be HARD to watch. But the movie is extraordinary in the way mental illness is depicted and how many affected with very serious MI can’t actually get the help they need, and then it’s their fault when they can’t behave the way society wants them too!
