    What I love about this first part of the fight is they were like reading/scanning each other to determine their next moves

      jamal. jr merpati putih, silat lebih cepat dari pada di film

      @@alrasyid5378 Wkwkw gerakannya gk ketangkap smaa frame kamera, mknya yang bikin The raid terkenal di dunia karena gerakannya cepat dipadu dengan posisi kameranya, jadi gerakannya walaupun cepat masih bisa di liat/dinikmati smaa penonton, ditambah waktu aksi gk ada pemotongna scene + loncat sudut kamera seperti film² Holywood , dan gk pake stunman (peran pengganti)

    You have to come to Indonesia, if you want to know more about traditional silat and that is certainly a unique movement... I love pencak silat

      @JoeyBslash3  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      If something is designed for self defense and warfare...it makes no sense to go and prove it within the sports arena. If that were the case, then it should work in reverse as well. Boxers and MMA practitioners need to fight a silat practitioner that is allowed to use a karambit and a golok. And the boxer/mma guy can't use those weapons in the fight since that isn't part of his martial art...see how that works. It doesn't make sense when you reverse the roles equally

    • @HarvestZeroZero
      @HarvestZeroZero 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Relax ... So the point .. Everything created must have the purpose and function of each ... And so many reasons why silat was created ... Well it For self-defense ... War ... And to keep up with the times made a new reason ... As for the match ...

    • @booktendersclub1110
      @booktendersclub1110 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      ryukenb2k
      Wow, you underestimate silat too much. Silat is vicious when using machette/golok/parang. Pencak Silat also has a deep philosophy and deep breathing technique. There is some 'white magic' involved. Dutch colonizers are known to be afraid of those who are bulletproof warriors.

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We actually don't practice the scenes much at all. It's just a lot of experience with martial arts, studying fight scenes, and editing that allows us to do these videos in the time we have together, which is very little per week. If we were able to do this full time and rehearse like these actors get to do, then our reenactments would be that much better.

      JoeyBslash 3 I think so, a lot of the people that made both Raid movies worked on it. There is machete fights, knife fights, sick baton fights and good old hand to hand. It was released in 2016 I believe

      JoeyBslash 3 Oh yea Mile 22 it's called I believe. Ronda Rousey is in it to. Also Iko Uwais is also starting in another big action film that is coming out either this year or next year call Triple Threat. It's a all star martial artists movie featuring Iko Uwais, Tony Jaa, Tiger Chen, Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White. The trailer looks badass
