I've never really had much to complain about the brand itself and the bikes that I've owned, except for a few niggles here and there. It is always convenient to generalise, but pointing out the issues at the right places is necessary. Just stating my first hand experience, that's it!
You are so right about the denial part. Had given my GT for service, and when i went to pick it up, noticed scratches/dents in 3 spots on the tank... guessing they dropped something on the tank. Pointed this out and they denied, saying that the scratches were already there when i gave it to them. Luckily i had proof... pictures taken just the day before, clearly showing the tank in perfect condition. So they told me to use my insurance and get the tank replaced. I refused to use my insurance for their mistake, and they said in that case nothing can be done. Then I refused to pay the service bill. They finally said to leave the bike with them, and they'll see if they can do any repainting. 4 days later, still no updates... and by this time i've spoken to like 4 different people (including the manager), each having his own version of whats going on. I decide that i've had enough, so i open google and leave a nasty 1 star review about my experience, mentioning each person by name. Within an hour i get a call from the manager, and he asks me why I have called out his name. After some arguing, he agrees to replace my tank as long as i deleted the review. The very next day, my bike was ready, with the tank replaced... which is proof that they have the capacity to fix things like this, but choose not to. the new tank also had 2 tiny scratches on it, but at that point i had no energy to deal with these morons any longer, so i took the bike and left. And I have had similar experiences at other service centres in my city as well, which goes to show that its an RE problem. My advice to RE owners, learn to maintain the bike by yourself, or even find a local mechanic that you can trust. Only go to the service centre if it is absolutely necessary
I think it may not be an RE problem. It's a automobile sector problem as a whole. I have observed such examples with cars and bikes alike, for various brand dealerships.

Thank you so much for sharing this . Because i have been going through this for the past 3 years. Its been frustrating finding a reliable service centre ive tried different service centres in Bangalore but hardly Few are good to their customers.
It's not just Royal Enfield; I own a H'ness 350 and had a bad delivery experience. After a test ride, I asked about delivery, and they said I could get it whenever I wanted. I requested a later date, and on delivery day, I called to confirm, and they said to come by 11 a.m. I arrive, and they tell me, "Your bike is on the way." By 1 p.m., still no bike. Finally, around 3 p.m., someone shows up riding my new bike-exhaust blazing hot from a long ride-and no number plate. When I asked why it wasn’t ready, they blamed delays at RTO and told me to come back the next day.
I noticed a scratch on the front mudguard, but the entire showroom kept denying it was there, even though it was clearly visible. And then, on the way home, I hear a squeaky sound from the rear brakes. I go back, and every time they test it, they claim there's "no sound." Finally, I have a guy ride with me to hear it, but he’s still denying it! Eventually, he says, "Come back tomorrow for a pressure wash; that'll fix it."
And then there’s the fuel indicator-it’s all over the place. After filling up, it showed a 500+ km range, then dropped to 384, back up to 450, and down to 228, all within barely 12-13 kilometers. When I asked the service center about it, they literally said, "Oh, the fuel indicator? That doesn’t work well on any of our bikes; just ignore it." 😭
14:40 As a tb350 owner I've faced this multiple times. Jab khud pe beet ta hai to hi logon ko smjhta hai. Sad reality of our biking community. Thanks to poor/non existent consumer laws of India, nahi to they'd be sued to hell and back🤣

Great Job at sharing your story. These stories should be shared and more so if it happens to a popular TH-camr such as you. These denial thing has become a trend nowadays. I own a Honda BigWing bike, and my experience has been horrible with Honda. My bike had a major ABS issue as well as the issue of the front brake not working at all. And the technician as well as the manager completely denied the issue even after I showed a video proof of it. It took 6 months to fix my brand new bike. I am also a horrible buyer who bought this defective bike even knowing that the brake was defective while taking delivery, just because the showroom guy told me that it is a sensor glitch which will be fixed automatically. Let alone my issues, I have myself talked to more than 10-12 other owners who have faces similar issues and are still facing till date. Oh and brake pads!! I don't know about RE but at Honda even the most popular bike doesn’t have brake pads available. Also the original Honda brake pads are terrible quality.

This is why Maruti Suzuki has such a firm grip on the Indian market. Their aftersale services are better than any others. Also, completely agree with Anurag here. Service centres don't really have good mechanics. Good ones usually leave the service centres for better opportunities or start their own garages. Most mechanics won't even bother to look at instruction manuals. Oh well, such is life.

I live in a very small city and we have a showroom and service centre on outskirts of our city. Like you said, you need to know someone in the RE store. My dad somehow managed to friend a RE salesman and whenever we have to service, the person comes to our home, picks up our bike and parks his bike. By evening, when the service is done, he brings back the bike and takes his bike along with him. Best RE service ever!!

hands down the best bonus clip ever
Best ever Bonus clip I have seen till now...😂😂😂
Yeah bro like I mean you are so right about these dealerships and it's not just royal infield it's I guess every service center back in India I mean currently I'm studying in Japan and your videos are the only window back home I also used to ride bike a lot and I love that part of India and I was feeling quite sad because today is supposed to be Diwali or dashed I think I don't even remember but after watching your video I just realized yeah this is also a part with the miserable service quality of our vehicles that as the owner of the vehicles we have to tackle these issues as well meanwhile here in Japan it's just so convenient and they're just so honest and diligent about it.
Hahahaha had a really good laugh listening to your Rant!😂, Recently I had a engine issue with my N250 and crank shaft had to be changed and somehow I was still charged when it was covered under warranty...I was like ye sahi hai.....😂
