This trick aint working, my friends are smart enought to reverse 3 times. I just look at their thumb muscle to kinda justify what they might use. It's like 72% win rate.
I use a system where i only play one game, best of one, to any person. if they are shy, they usually go for paper. outgoing people go for rock, and people in the middle go for scissors. i think its because of the associations that go with the items, but i dont study psycology, so idk. edit: it doesnt work all the time, but it works a lot of the time. i also use it to tell peoples moods, and if they are nervous. (if they are nervous they will go for paper. ig this could also be used to tell if you are lying, havent tried it yet though. if people are actually ok, they will go for scissors or rock. rock is the most confident/ok)
Personally, these are my main two strats. 1: In the first 3 draws, use whatever the opponent uses first. With this, I would also recommend playing paper first. Ex: (You: Paper Op: Rock - You: Rock - Op: ___ , etc.) By the 4th/3rd turn, the opponent will likely catch on. From here, play either: Paper (/whatever you played first) OR whatever you played second. 2: Use one of these layouts (this works for best 2/3.) Scissors, Paper, Scissors (The opposite of rock, paper, scissors, but doubling back before prediction.) Rock, Paper Rock (Rock, Paper, Scissors with the double back) Paper, Scissors, Rock The first layout is the riskiest. Rock is the most commonly played starter, so you are most likely to get countered first round. The second layout relies on your opponent not overthinking. The third layout is also quite a gamble, if your opponent plays rock first turn, it's better to back out and play rock second, followed by scissors to avoid the opponent doubling down on rock. +Tip: Based generally on the mind of humans, a good strat can be countering whatever you played. Let's say you play rock first turn. This would mean playing paper next. Now, since your opponent knows it is POSSIBLE that you play rock again, it's relatively unlikely they will play scissors. If you know it might happen, why would you play right into it? They will either COUNTER what you last played, (draw) or play what you last played. (win) It is obviously still possible to lose, but in multiple rounds of rock paper scissors, you hardly have any time to consider your next move. Your opponent will likely see that potential loss, and play into a win for you. (/A draw)
Cuphead taught me well, my strategy is to not overthink it, with that I won 9 rock paper scissors matches consecutively. But usually I start with rock, however when I play rock paper scissors with multiple people, sometimes there is a meta of not playing a certain thing, so I play that because if the meta is not to play let's say, rock, then that means everyone is playing paper, so then everybody tries to get one step ahead by only playing scissors, so as I kept playing rock, I then win every rock paper scissors, but sometimes the best bet is to play randomly.
You just have to know if they know this, and if so, you also have to know if they know if you know this strategy. If they don’t know you know they strategy, but you know that they know it, you can just do the thing that would counter the thing you didn’t play. If both of you know that the other person knows that they know the strategy, THEN it becomes a paradox.
I knew this trick long ago, but I was fighting against a lil kid. Obviously knowing this trick, instead of winning I made her win loads of time and making me win once only
Ima break it abit: 1.if you lose, you opponent has a chance to use the same thing next round (eg:you do rock, they do paper, they might play paper again, counter with scissors) 2.if you win, your oppenent might assume that you will play the same thing again, so they counter with the beating choice, use what beats that (eg:you play rock, they play scissors, they expect you to play rock again, so they choose paper, choose scissors to counter or use paper to tie) Grammer is bad and idk how to properly explain without being a nerd, hope it helps
What I do is smart. *Step 1:* first you need to be late. Means your opponent quick than you. *Step 2:* memories the what your doing. Means when opponent opens two fingers it is a scissors (✂️). You need memories that and do the Rock. When your opponent opens none of the fingers it is a rock. You have to do paper. When your opponent opens all the fingers it is a paper (🗞️ ). You need to do scissors (✂️) That how you win.
How to win(better)- SO, most people *DON'T* expect you to actually use the same move again if you win, for eg you chose rock they chose scissors, it's actually the losers that use the same move, because you expect your opponent to be smarter than you, and after you beat them with rock>scissor, use rock again, and after that, they *WILL NOT* use scissor, they will use rock, because they expect you to use scissor because that's what your earlier move could've beat, and they would most likely expect you to use reverse psych, but just strike their fist with your flat hand paper.
Beat the thing that beats the thing that beats the thing you played, or just play what the opponent played last round , got me laughing the heck out of me 😂😂😂😂😂

Also i noticed that if you repeat what you did twice, they won't expect you to do it a third time. So make sure to repeat your move a third time after the second and you most likely will win
This was the strategy I used when i was little in a tournament at the fair and won a tv. I dont know how my brain worked so well using this strategy back then

there gonna play the thing which beats the thing that you just played so you need to play the thing that would beat the thing that would beat the thing that you just played "dies"
The whole idea is to think what will beat your current option. If you use rock and enemy used scissor, possible use scissors next time because your enemy would use paper to counter your previous attack (which was rock)
In elemantary at years 7&8 i was too good, like nearly always winning, i studied my classmates and analyzed wich item they would use first usually, and that made me win damn well. And if i than knew this back than, i would be unstoppable.
in rock paper sciccors you sometimes put your hands behind your shoulders, and i use this to beat my enemies so that when my hand is behind my shoulders i putted for example scissors behind my shoulders and then my enemy will look behind my shoulder so they will play rock and then when the hands are pushed forward i change to rock (sorry if this made your brain trippin' out)
