We went to Positano from Oct 11th thru Oct 14th this year. I had booked a boat trip with BlueStar for Thurs Oct 13th. I provided a 20e deposit but unfortunately it rained on Thursday and the boat trip was cancelled. I could not take the trip another time. I received a message from BlueStar that the trip had been cancelled and they would have someone bring my 20e deposit back to my hotel. On Friday morning as we checked out, I was amazed to find an envelop for me with my deposit of 20e at the hotel lobby. My wife and I were amazed that BlueStar had sent someone personally to return my deposit to the hotel. It is nice to see the honesty of people and companies like BlueStar. If we ever get a chance to come back to Positano, I will surely go back to BlueStar first for our boat trip. Loved our trip there and hopefully we will be able to come back again soon. Watching your videos Nicki and Carlos brings back that warm feeling we had from our wonderful trip a few weeks ago. thanks from Canada

This is a wonderful tradition! It just shows how people are grounded in their culture and they have respect for the ocean and their environment. It’s also quite touching how the locals celebrate with each other and they are great full for what they have!

I remember being there in 3rd week of October my first visit, and all the boats were pulled up and it was all closed up. Not being a 'crowds' person - it was perfect! Loved walking along collecting old tiles washed up on the beach...and took a lovely picture of my daughter by one of the boats...then 11 ---- now 29!

I related so so much to this one! My former partner and I lived water side here on the East coast of the States. We practically lived on the boat for 10 years. The end of season was so much fun, less boats and people. But putting up the boat to dry dock every October was sad!! I literally cried for Elisabeth, I know that feeling 😪 ❤ All the memories this brought to me...thank you. Life on the water is alot of work, but it is a lifestyle I truly miss.
We been following your channel for years. Our family visited Italy for the first time in June for two weeks. While we did not make it to Positano, we did stay in Sorrento and chartered a similar boat for a day to go around Capri. We can't wait to return to Italy and hopefully visit Positano! Congratulations to Elizabeth and family on ten years!
An incredible season. Made more poignant with Skye being hugged over and over as she arrived on the boat and Nicki’s and Elizabeth’s life-long friends-are-family hug on the bow. Looking forward to the end of 2022 with my Positano friends but even more - the excitement of 2023 ♥️.

I had the pleasure to meet Elizabeth when I visited Positano at the end of September. She was very sweet and nice. She took a picture with me at the boat rental office at the beach. I wish her and her family a very successful year in 2023.

I always love seeing when you are are all together with Elizabeth and friends and family. I always feel so relaxed watching your videos and seem to find myself smiling and grinning. What a beautiful sunset and Positano looks so beautiful lit up at night. Do all the restaurants along the beach where Elizabeth's booths were do they close for winter. I think that is beautiful that they blow their horns and thank every one for the year the success and I can imagine that it is emotional every year Elizabeth and Nicki. Beautiful. Till we see the boats next year Elizabeth we will enjoy the visit with Nicki till then.
Wow, I can't believe all the hard work that goes into the breaking down/moving/storing the entire rental boat operation for the winter, leaving behind a completely open beach -- I will have a whole new appreciation for that when I return for a visit May 2023. Thanks so much for sharing.

Growing up in Central America... Understand the policies vary. No rules. We 11 yr olds drove speed boats. No adults aboard. My 13 yr old brother..jumping off, midlake. No life vests. We were exploring and docking all around lake Ilopango.Iguanas jumping from cliffs. In hindsight, I wonder how we did not get into serious accidents. We would take hollowed out wood canoes in the water while it was raining in thunderstorms and we would flip them over just so we could hear our voices underneath and the echo. We would climb on top of it and jump off of it. We had a free childhood and it was quite reckless. Would I recommend now that level of freedom? Absolutely not. It's a miracle we didn't get injured,or get our boat stolen. Now? I would require safety vests on everyone there. We might have had a few but nobody wore them. People need to understand that if you have an emergency in the boat capsizes, it's not the same to be out in the middle of Cold lake treading water as being able to swim. Hypothermia, or injured can't swim. I'm so happy you guys have happiness and joy and freedom. I knew that same sensation. Now, I wonder how my parents let us roam!!! We were water babies,swimmers from age 2. Taught in pools and California beaches.Rivers. Navigating a kayak at 4. Water ski at 10. Different level of risk. Different times... Much Love to you. Nikki another wonderful videar of your boat trip and what a wonderful captain you have I hope she gets her dream job and it's really great to know that the kids have to go to different schools for whatever they want to be at such a young age here in the US we don't do that they have to have so many credits of high school to be able to go on to college to get their preferred jobs or caryes I'm so sorry for Elizabeth having to be Emotional when her boats have to go be put up and all of the stuff is put away For Winter she has a wonderful business and I'm happy for her and sad at the same time that when the boats have to be put away for the Winter months it was great to see your daughter she looks amasing just like her mother and dad I must say can't wait to your next video it was a wonderful one and the food looks great And is this the best time of the year to come when it's not quite so busy but the dim boat will be put away and you won't be able to go out on a boat so maybe not.

The end of season was so much fun, less boats and people. But putting up the boat to dry dock every October was sad!! I literally cried for Elisabeth, I know that feeling 😪 ❤ All the memories this brought to me...thank you. Life on the water is alot of work, but it is a lifestyle I truly miss.

We been following your channel for years. Our family visited Italy for the first time in June for two weeks. While we did not make it to Positano, we did stay in Sorrento and chartered a similar boat for a day to go around Capri. We can't wait to return to Italy and hopefully visit Positano! Congratulations to Elizabeth and family on ten years!

An incredible season. Made more poignant with Skye being hugged over and over as she arrived on the boat and Nicki’s and Elizabeth’s life-long friends-are-family hug on the bow. Looking forward to the end of 2022 with my Positano friends but even more - the excitement of 2023 ♥️.

I had the pleasure to meet Elizabeth when I visited Positano at the end of September. She was very sweet and nice. She took a picture with me at the boat rental office at the beach. I wish her and her family a very successful year in 2023.

I always love seeing when you are are all together with Elizabeth and friends and family. I always feel so relaxed watching your videos and seem to find myself smiling and grinning. What a beautiful sunset and Positano looks so beautiful lit up at night. Do all the restaurants along the beach where Elizabeth's booths were do they close for winter. I think that is beautiful that they blow their horns and thank every one for the year the success and I can imagine that it is emotional every year Elizabeth and Nicki. Beautiful. Till we see the boats next year Elizabeth we will enjoy the visit with Nicki till then.

Wow, I can't believe all the hard work that goes into the breaking down/moving/storing the entire rental boat operation for the winter, leaving behind a completely open beach -- I will have a whole new appreciation for that when I return for a visit May 2023. Thanks so much for sharing.

Growing up in Central America...
Understand the policies vary.
No rules.
We 11 yr olds drove speed boats.
No adults aboard. My 13 yr old brother..jumping off, midlake.
No life vests. We were exploring and docking all around lake Ilopango.Iguanas jumping from cliffs.
In hindsight, I wonder how we did not get into serious accidents. We would take hollowed out wood canoes in the water while it was raining in thunderstorms and we would flip them over just so we could hear our voices underneath and the echo. We would climb on top of it and jump off of it. We had a free childhood and it was quite reckless.
Would I recommend now that level of freedom? Absolutely not. It's a miracle we didn't get injured,or get our boat stolen.
Now?
I would require safety vests on everyone there. We might have had a few but nobody wore them.
People need to understand that if you have an emergency in the boat capsizes,
it's not the same to be out in the middle of Cold lake treading water as being able to swim. Hypothermia, or injured can't swim.
I'm so happy you guys have happiness and joy and freedom. I knew that same sensation.
Now, I wonder how my parents let us roam!!!

You all had such a fun final boat outing in one of Elisabeth's Blue Star Tour boats, which is beautiful. You all are one big happy family of friends and relatives and I can see why Elisabeth and you feel bittersweet packing up everything at the end of boating season. Do you still get together with her over the winter months or is it more infrequent? On another note, isn't it stupendous news about how well Luca is doing since his blood patch cvs leak surgery? Nikki another wonderful videar of your boat trip and what a wonderful captain you have I hope she gets her dream job and it's really great to know that the kids have to go to different schools for whatever they want to be at such a young age here in the US we don't do that they have to have so many credits of high school to be able to go on to college to get their preferred jobs or caryes I'm so sorry for Elizabeth having to be Emotional when her boats have to go be put up and all of the stuff is put away For Winter she has a wonderful business and I'm happy for her and sad at the same time that when the boats have to be put away for the Winter months it was great to see your daughter she looks amasing just like her mother and dad I must say can't wait to your next video it was a wonderful one and the food looks great And is this the best time of the year to come when it's not quite so busy but the dim boat will be put away and you won't be able to go out on a boat so maybe not.
I really respect the Italians and residents of Positano. They are all really hard workers!
