I'm completely, without exaggeration, in love with him, seeing him sing and speak, causes me a nostalgic euphoria, who knows, we have already been together in another life, who knows?
Daryl is unbelievable. One of the best singers/performers/musicians of our time. Every time I hear this live version, I turn into this teary eyed fool. Pure emotion.. fantastic stuff.
Great to see Daryl doing this tremendous song back when it was new. Also great to see him performing with 2 of his H&O bandmates - T-Bone Wolk on bass & G.E. Smith on lead guitar.
Daryl absolutely detests the usuage of the term "blue eyed soul" he has always been vocal about it through the years. He is "The Voice" as I call him1 Thanks Daryl!
I'm obsessed with his songs and the artist. The way he presents himself is so hypnotic and I'm just in awe with him. Especially everytime I hear this song, I could cry, and I just can't take my eyes off him. I'm talking here like I'm inlove with him! If I have a chance to dump my husband for him, I would in a heartbeat! Hee hee
15 anos depois respondo-te: não faças isto! A ilusão é um drink que convida-nos a perder. Não faças isto... tudo é uma ilusão. Nem tenho a certeza que estás viva...
RIP T-Bone ...you're a huge reason why I love Hall and Oates since my childhood....you were always just as important and I know Hall and Oates would agree Thank You for sharing your gifts with the world
Thank you. I've been a huge fan of Hall & Oates since 1982. Loved them ever since. And Daryl Hall is such a beautiful and talented artist. It's hard to get over him...haha
In my opinion, I find him to be one of the most good-looking male rock stars around, and one of the best singers. I saw H&O twice. One last year too. If they tour here again, I'll go again for sure.
Love Love Love this song and This Man!He is amazing,Heart and Soul!Cheryl from PA/DE Hall & Oates are amazing have seen them over 10 times, they just keep getting better!!!Beautiful Song!!!!
He's one of the best! Saw him and Oates recently in Vancouver, Canada. It was amazing! Their vocals have improved more and they're ageless. They both look good, especially Daryl! Girls were screaming in the audience. The concert was just amazing. Can't get enough H&O, and I especially looovvveeee Daryl!
Oh thanks so much for posting this video. I have seen both Daryl and John in concert, and they sound so fabulous live. I love this song. Today's music definitely lacks this kind of talent.
when I view videos of Daryl alone or with John and see T Bone, I am sad. I met him in the Denver airport in the security line after attending a Hall and Oates concert in Aug of '09. Who knew. What a nice man. And oh so talented. Daryl must be crushed. RIP, T Bone. J
I knew Hall had talent when I saw him with Costello " Not the only flame in town "... back in the day. Since then his music sometimes has brought me to tears.
Daryl Hall is so amazing. He's the only singer I know (besides my husband) who sounds just as good (or better) live than on a recording every single time.
Some songs I can string together in my head as absolutely digging in to the depths of heartbreak and despair...the types of songs that hand you your heart torn and broken and finally forced into the forefront of one's mind no matter how hard we try to fool ourselves. Parallel Lines by Todd Rundgren, Someone Like You Mr Hall, Leaving me Now Level 42, Bonnie Rait singing I Can't Make You Love me.....
True "blue eyed soul". Daryl Hall's voice so smooth and strong, Hall and Oates puts on a great concert too. I miss artist who like them as a group or Daryl Hall solo who actually have talent and don't have to depend on a producer or a mixer to make them sound good like so much of the crappy stuff that is passed off as music today by the one hit wonders. I found a great anthology CD of Hall and Oates that had their hits plus the solo stuff.
Daryl has one of the greatest voices in the music business. He's a true artist and I love all of his songs.
Currently no more romantic songs are produced with this level of quality ...
Again, Again, and Again another great song , sung by Mr Daryl Hall. Your music does bring a smile . Thank you.
Summertime 😊
I'm completely, without exaggeration, in love with him, seeing him sing and speak, causes me a nostalgic euphoria, who knows, we have already been together in another life, who knows?
Daryl is just AMAZING!! Whether with John or solo, he really, really shines!! such an incredible talent!!
I think what I am in love with is Daryl's emotion when singing. I get caught up in it....it becomes personal.
If anyone wants to hear the most exciting male vocalist look no further than this!
"I need that romance.. one that grows strong when it's got no chance."
One of the best lyrics ever. Great song.
Daryl is unbelievable. One of the best singers/performers/musicians of our time. Every time I hear this live version, I turn into this teary eyed fool. Pure emotion.. fantastic stuff.
Daryl has great stage presence as well as a voice
I felt the same way when I saw him live. I think there is a rare, spiritual dimension to his music that is lacking with so many other artists.
First of many awesome Solo performances to come❤️🎼🎶🎤🎹❤️😎🌴
Daryl is the whole package... so talented, great voice, great songwriter and musician and sooo damn sexy too.... can't get enough
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO NO NO NO his MOVES ARE THE BEST I love how daryl gets into it and jumps around on stage and in their videos.

Daryl has one of the greatest voices in rock and roll history
G.E. Smith screaming on guitar 🎸❤
My heart aches when I hear Daryl Hall's voice. Amazing.
Great to see Daryl doing this tremendous song back when it was new. Also great to see him performing with 2 of his H&O bandmates - T-Bone Wolk on bass & G.E. Smith on lead guitar.
Daryl’s singing those hot fire vocals
Daryl absolutely detests the usuage of the term "blue eyed soul" he has always been vocal about it through the years. He is "The Voice" as I call him1 Thanks Daryl!

Soul, soul, soul, singer......nailed it! Can't get enough Daryl Hall.
Must be my fav song. Daryl looks great and that voice! He has the best voice ever. I've been a fan since day 1.
Great! Daryl raises the bar pretty high. No foul singing into auto tune here.
A brilliant legendary artist.
The blue eyes are there love this version of somebody like you❤🥰
No singer today could hold a candle to Daryl Halls voice and style !
RIP T-Bone ...you're a huge reason why I love Hall and Oates since my childhood....you were always just as important and I know Hall and Oates would agree
Thank You for sharing your gifts with the world
Daryl is a national treasure.
Thank you. I've been a huge fan of Hall & Oates since 1982. Loved them ever since. And Daryl Hall is such a beautiful and talented artist. It's hard to get over him...haha
R.I.P. T-Bone............... I love this tune, and like it better than the earlier version. The later version seems to be more meaning. Daryl rocks!!
The version at Daryls House with Joe Walsh on lead guitar is beyond awesome.
One of my all time favorite songs. Its so bad !I had this CD when it was released
This is one of my favorite performances of Daryl’s. Love this! Played my VCR tape of this thin back in the 80’s!!
I couldn't agree more! :) Where is the passionate music like this today??? Something to make your body rock and your heart melt...
"I need that romance.. one that grows strong when it's got no chance."
One of my favorite lyrics ever. Incredible song.
One of my favorite songs, it's good to hear it again, his voice is fantastic!
This episode on "Late Night With David Letterman" originally aired on Wednesday, October 29th, 1986.
And he's going strong today!!
Nola McGhee and he’s going strong 7 years later from the comment.
Daryl is the complete package ! Plus he has fantastic hair❤️
In my opinion, I find him to be one of the most good-looking male rock stars around, and one of the best singers. I saw H&O twice. One last year too. If they tour here again, I'll go again for sure.
Have followed him for years, from then to now. Love him.
Daryl- you give me the chills.....Thank you for all the music!

He's one of the best! Saw him and Oates recently in Vancouver, Canada. It was amazing! Their vocals have improved more and they're ageless. They both look good, especially Daryl! *Such emotion behind that voice.*
Awesome song. I had this album when it first came out in '86...
when I view videos of Daryl alone or with John and see T Bone, I am sad. I met him in the Denver airport in the security line after attending a Hall and Oates concert in Aug of '09. Who knew. What a nice man. And oh so talented. Daryl must be crushed. RIP, T Bone. J
This is bliss. Too short. I want a version of 20 minutes!!
Der Daryll ist ein super Typ und macht super Musik. Immer wieder Klasse.
Just heard this song for the first time today. Fabulous
Yeah, he had just turned 40 when this record came out.
I would never get tired of it🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥😍😍😍😍😍

Prime time Daryl
ALL Band Full totallty amazing
I knew Hall had talent when I saw him with Costello " Not the only flame in town "...
back in the day. Since then his music sometimes has brought me to tears.
Later versions knock it out of the park. A good song that had to age.
Sensational!! ❤
So great... One of my favs, then & now 🌹☠💃
Vintage......sooooo beautiful! Thank you Daryl....
RIP T-Bone
thanks for posting this, love it, awesome for you to put it up for us..thank you, warmly.
Probably my favourite Daryl solo song, I wish he'd still perform it live.
I found two different performances on Daryl's House. Both gorgeous and completely different.
Amazing live song, a great singer
Off the charts terrific
Hot Daryl!
fires me up
This guy is special.
Thanks for posting. Great stuff.
Beautiful ..and he is still a great singer. And seems a genuinely nice chap.
this is the best video ever i love it alot
Una voce che scoppia nel cuore 💓❤️
The great Will Lee stepping away from the bass to play keys on this one!
He looks like an angel too with an angelic voice.
Daryl Hall is so amazing. He's the only singer I know (besides my husband) who sounds just as good (or better) live than on a recording every single time.
This song is dedicated to the woman he loved , she died from cancer.
Not exactly it was written for Janna Allen who was the sister of his longtime love Sara. Janna died of leukemia in 1993.
wether in life or death...they are always with us...even to the very end...😎😉
His Sister-in Law....!!!
God I wish he was singing about me! What PASSION, man!!!
Oh Daryl, why aren't you mine?!!
Some songs I can string together in my head as absolutely digging in to the depths of heartbreak and despair...the types of songs that hand you your heart torn and broken and finally forced into the forefront of one's mind no matter how hard we try to fool ourselves. really good, never heard this one before.
It's fun to see their age here...they are so young, but hey I forget that back in 1968 I was younger too, in fact two years different in age.
this song still gets me...
Beautiful!
sweet, love this joint
RIP- Tom T-Bone Wolk... I love your tunes forever.
before its time love is always relevent, what a beauty of sound
I saw Daryl Hall at llbeans free concet in freeport maine and he sang this song .. YOU rock DAryl awesome and cute tooo
Not only was he young and handsome it was young and oh so talented
Yeah i remember that was a great song. It definitely one of my favorites from 3 hearts, but yeah Daryl really kicks ass in this song!!!
As you can see, I'm obsessed with them.
True "blue eyed soul". Daryl Hall's voice so smooth and strong, Hall and Oates puts on a great concert too. Mr. Hall HATES to be called "blue-eyed soul!" He feels it is racist.
