I have been selling lots of "off the radar sets." $40 for retired dots sets.... When stock investing, I noticed that pro investors will throw you off the scent, they will talk trash about the stock they are backing up the truck on. I don't think Lego is any different, why would any investor give you his secret? There are so many great sets that are never discussed.
Interesting thought and I could see that being the case for Lego but I don't see how pro investors would not want more interest in their golden ticket stock. More interest more shares sold...more shares sold more money made (if they exit at the right time) As a pro they are usually getting something for their picks. The other option is to pump up the stock so they could take a short position. Lego in that regard is different. Trust your own judgement. That's awesome you're able to move dots. I watch KDX and DG bc I think they are some of the more honest Lego YTbers out there. But ultimately it is up to every individual to pull the trigger. I like to go for sets I personally think are cool and look cool that hopefully only have a 2 yr shelf life

You're welcome and thanks buddy! No specific routine, I just get notifications from Slickdeals, the Lego deals subreddit, and IGNITE. And then of course Target and Walmart push me sales notifications every now and then.

I just did, I think I saw it right after recording this video. So far I'm not excited about it, but maybe my mind will be changed after seeing the build. I don't want Lego to do too many of these... But I do like El Dorado fortress because we don't get many pirate theme sets these days. Even though this one will be classic space, we get a lot of other space themed sets, so I'm less likely to be interested. When official images are released let me know what you think!

But yes the five exclusive minifigures are outstanding! And they're still pulling in decent value, but less than a few months ago.

@kdxbricksanalytics I too missed the sale online. I got lucky last night though and a worker at my local target found one in the back for me and they price matched the online sale price! All that being said, I missed the sale on the creator 3 in 1 castle this morning, which as a diehard Lego Castle fan as well as novice Lego investor, I am gutted by this. So yeah, right back to disappointment lol
