I want to know how to get color of selected surfaces in the shaded view. I am using rhino 7 and only the edges show the yellow color of a selected surface (I know how to change this color but not for surfaces)

I couldn't able to bridge between the elliptical surface...it is saying boundary edges is needed or edges needs to be disjoint...can you help me with this?

I didn't make square pipes, I made cylindrical pipes. It is necessary to use Grasshopper to make a large number of square-section pipes.
When creating a bridge between the two ellipse I keep getting an error that says "bridge end has to be within a single object", how can I fix this?
You can't Bridge between two ellipses (because it's curved), but you can loft. If you want to bridge edges or faces, both parts must have an equal number of elements. To create a bridge in order, first select the faces to be connected and say enter, then select the opposite faces and enter.

Thank you. Probably the interrupt object does not completely cover the interrupted object.

Check out a curve using the intersect command.
