Lt Dark Ring: Park Ranger is one of the worst characters in the game.
Also Lt Dark Ring: uses the health upgrade.
He’s one of the variants where the health upgrade is an option due to his cloud radius upgrade not adding that much value
Cloud upgrades are ass on park anyway
Park ranger used to be the best soldier but they nerfed his ammo count and his cloud damage
He's not bad he's just very situational IMO

Electrician is useful in gardens and graveyards since you can shoot at the objective and you’ll do damage to any plant in there thanks to your big splash radius and electric damage.

Rose and Deadbeard getting Party variants (yes ik it's because they're part of the main new 6 characters but who cares) but classes like Peashooter and Soldier not getting any legendries is one of the baffling parts about this game to me. Also 4 out of the 6 party characters don't have a damage downside but Rose and Deadbeard got both the damage downside and the usual ammo downside as well, like, they wouldn't have even been that good without the damage downside, why tf does they get worse treatment than the others?
Not to mention Corn, Imp, Citron and SB having two legendaries

Pff, Chompers are WAY better that what many people give it credit for, and in the hands of a good player (like me, since I mained him even back in GW1) they become an absolute NIGHTMARE for your enemies.
That being said... there's only so much you can do for some of them *Turns towards Chomp Thing*
One of the few advantages that armor chomper has over hot rod is that at least armor chomper can actually kill enemies.
And it kills them HARD
At least Hot rod can actually reach enemies.

At that point just play stock or any of the three charged roses
As a rose main, party rose has the potential to be a great character. If they just fixed her damage, rate of fire, and made her party time on par with the other characters she would be AMAZING like most other roses are in my opinion.
Curious question but why was Druid rose not picked instead of party rose as the worst rose? While party is painful to play as I know from experience haha 😅 Druid has many problems too such as a really slow projectile speed and potentially lower kill times so I am wondering what your reasoning was for saying part rose is worse.

i have always despised that shitstorm, probably slightly inlulenced by it being the first party character i ever unlocked, but also because it's dookie
I do think she's bad, but definitely not worthy of being THE worst character in the game. Since she's still a Rose and you can still just camp at the edge of the map and get kills with the homing, unlike Armor chomper who struggles to even catch up to enemies even with the goop.

She and Partyman are currently the WORST Party characters in the game, their damage outside of their Party Mode is abysmal (which makes getting to Party Mode all the more obnoxious)
Only reason I say they are currently the worst is because back in the day, that title belonged to Party Brainz (WTF was PopCap thinking in those days?)
unironically, i like all of these characters except for party rose, i dont think they are good for killing but like playing them just for fun.
Electrician is the king of annoyance in Turf. My boy deserves better
I honestly don't see the point of Camo Cactus
Cactus is already a sniper class, so why would you give her increased zoom? Why not something like Invisibility, so she can sneak to safer areas undetected?
Not to mention her crosshairs are massive, so you may as well as go out of bounds if a zombie gets upclose. Several cacti have their ways of dealing with foes upclose, such as Petrified, Bandit or Jade.
I do somewhat agree with you that party rose sucks. I never liked the regular rose that much because using her felt so boring and slow paced, and party rose just makes it worse.
But I have had too many unfortunate experiences with ac perry to fully agree with you.
Electrician seems like a very arbitrary pick for this list. AC Perry and even Welder do worse in damage, with Welder's primary in particular essentially just being worse by dealing 10 less direct hit damage than Electrician's, on top of only dealing 10 splash damage. The reload is a valid complaint, but the reload upgrade heavily mitigates it, making it only .4 seconds slower than most other Engineer reload times.
I'd go Yeti Chomper, Toxic Citron, AC Perry, Rock Pea and Electro Citron.
If I had to do an even-ish split of plants and zombies, I'd replace E Citron with Captain Flameface.
Of course the first party piece I get is Rose -_-
As someone who mained electrician for a couple weeks, duck that reload duration.

Her kill times are worse than party and her projectile speed makes it even worse. She at least deserves to be right mext to party.

I have a case to present for count chompula being worse than armor chomper
Count chompula's only perk is a gimmick where you have to survive after Eating someone for it to be of use. Combine that with being in the threshold for being 1 shot by imp punt and being more easily killed overall.
Armor chomper may be slow but if you're gooped it usually doesn't matter, and if they spikeweed carpet you, just cry because you can't fight back, they can usually approach after gooping due to having 200+ HP. It's not great compared to other characters in the game but it can certainly guarantee a cheesey kill or two

I will say that though Party Rose isn’t a good character, it’s satisfying to get Party Time whilst in Enigma. Her music isn’t that bad either
It's odd because somehow I find a way to get work done with these 5 characters. But on the bright side of party rose her party time music is amazing.
Druid Rose not being in the bottom 5 feels wrong. Also, Party Rose is currently my only Character available that isn't Specialist.

Party rose is worse 100%, disco chomper has a great legendary mode and is basically a better reg chomper.
Party rose is a worse reg rose with a worse version of party time.
Metal petal too, as the only thing she can do as a character is heal others. Her damage sucks, nearly every zombie in the game can out dps her at range, her speed is horrible despite being a sunflower, making healing, getting to people to revive, and getting to a range where she deals more than 5 damage to targets very difficult, and her one way to do good damage is solar flare beam. Absolutely disgusting, a disgrace of a character.
Tbh mastering party rose was really painful but once I've got appropriate upgrades she felt pretty good to play (but mid at most)
I find it funny that Party Rose is in the #1 spot of worst characters in GW2 but I personally love her. I main her, have the most playtime with her (50+ Hours) and have the most fun with her. I know this is opinion based but I just prefer using Party Rose more as a challenge. I've played GW2 since it first came out and will never stop using Party Rose. 🎉🌹
I find Party Rose really fun and decent in Herbal Assault. Once you hit Party Time you are basically invincible with the extra speed and armor. Plus the music. I've definitely gone on a few 20+ kill streaks with her.
And to think Party Rose is the Rose variant I play the most and not even have a hard time killing zombies

In my opinion, Toxic Citron is best at almost point-blank range because that is where he does eight damage per limer slimer.

Chomp thing’s health regen is actually what saves him (underrated gimmick), chemist may be shit, but he still has fairly decent damage.
And AC Perry’s ice effect may be shit. But it’s kinda the same story as frozen citron & yeti chomper… in having an ice mechanic, on a character that already has some form of stun or CC.
This must be a PC player take because Chemist isn't even close to the worst scientist on console, never mind the bottom 5 in the whole game
@@LtDarkRing chomp thing's gimmick does not pay off for his damage and health at all, chemist while he has the slowest ttk also has a long asf reload and is extremely limited due to having no range
And ac perry you are basically dead before you have the chance to freeze a fly you as much as tickled him after that fight
Chomp things gimmick actually saves me all the save. Definitely my most reliable chomper
Gotta say, Chomp Thing with the health regen upgrade is super fun, and simply burrowing can get you most, if not all your health back.

the thing is, park ranger is still a soilder. electrician still has his abilities. (Same for toxic citron to some extent). Breakfast brainz, count chompula and party rose are the worst
With all due respect Electrician being one of the top 5 instead of AC Perry is a Chumpo Sizzle-level take.
Honestly you could have all of the chompers in this list, they have no range, a massive hitbox, a lackluster kit, no free will of swallowing, and no upward mobility. It's always hilarious when you see all they gave to Super Brainz, and how much better he does in everything.
Love how Popcap made Super Brainz literally just a better version of chomper lol.
At least they fixed it in BFN, but then they happened to overcorrect it lol

Armoured chomper is pretty fun... Well at least for me, like his damage and health are awesome to have, plus chomp cannon is more fun on him, like... Well... You get the Idea(probably not...).

As a main chomper, i think not amour chomper because he still have high damage, at second place it should be chomp thing, he is the worst chomper in my opinion because chomp thing only deals damage by spraying, he also has no special abilities, it's simply a spray version of chomper but it's worse than normal chomper, and the first position should be chemist , it seems that a chemist is no different from a scientist, right? My sister is a main rose so she knows that party rose don't seem to be as strong as other party characters

Opinion and spoilers:
I strongly disagree with park ranger placement, to me personally, his mix of the regular soldier fire type with the stink cloud makes one of the most unique and fun variants of the foot soldier class, if you know how to play him and what role he plays in the team, he can be extremely effective in crowd and area control.
But side note: GW2 has a lot of characters, there's gonna be some that works for some and others that don't.

Probably because the stun isn't very noticeable and imo Rose doesn't benefit nearly as much from a stun as Citron and Engineer do

Breakfast brains didn’t make the list, since whilst yes, his damage output is quite bad compared to the rest of the SB’s. He is still an SB, and still has access to potentially the strongest form of mobility in the entire game. That when paired with breakfast brainz’s higher natural speed does kinda allow him to easily escape the bottom 5. I would be willing to rank him as high as the middle of the bunch in terms of all 121 characters.
@@LtDarkRing While he does have SB mobility his damage is pretty slow to start up which just punishes him for trying to do the standard SB dive or combos in general. Plus not being able to jump and punch REALLY hurts him. Being forced to to walk at people in predictable straight lines just get you shredded 9/10 time before you can even do anything. He gets punished for trying to play like a standard SB and that’s why I think he’s bottom 5. But that’s just my opinion and I can respect your take

All of the abilities are the reason.
They are the main saving grace for the chomper, letting him be tolerable to use. Armour chomper is here because his slow speed actually hinders them (especially with how much it slows down the damn burrow)
