i do agree with cactus being on 10 but one thing i dont understand in general in pvz. Why the fuck does reg cactus doesnt have damage drop off but elemental ones like fire cactus do??? like wouldnt it be enough to decreas the damage in general on those ones? Is the damage drop off really necessary on a sniper class? dang ea did sum weird shit

The good old days When captain partyman, party rose, computer scientist, BBQ Corn, Tennis Star, and AC Perry were considered the best characters in the game it’s certainly better than half of the peashooter class being OP

I think that the Zen Cactus should also have an honorable mention, the only downside she have is that she literally glows, the entire map can see her from the other side of the map

This game is such an interesting case because nearly every goddamn character has the potential to go crazy. It's just a matter of how you use them.
One takeaway I've come to regarding BFN, especially around when it first released to the public, was that the characters felt weak. To me, I feel like that's what hindered it a bit. Of course there were a plethora of others reasons for its failure in the long-run, but I've never thought about it that way.
It's just way more satisfying making every character feel good to play rather than hindering everyone's capability for a more defense-focused game (also, actually having classes - AKA, being a actual Garden Warfare game - would've been nice)
right so take it as constructive criticism and also just my opinion

Vampire Flower my beloved Sunflower. Only one I will use when it comes to Sunflowers. Near immortal compared to Vampire Chomper to a degree
One of my favourite things about gw2 is how not universal the ranking is.
Most games have a very defining meta, while gw2 has people swearing centurion is trash tier, and others who say he's great A tier or higher.
Some people say empire is giga op, and others say she's mid tier.
Although everyone can agree agent pea is the best character in the game.

Vampire Flower, commando corn and iron citron should be on this list. Petrified cactus sucks and almost all other cactus classes are better

How is torchwood not a top 10 plant? He has 275 hp (285 with health upgrade), good dps and his abilities are broken

personally i love electric sunflower because its probably the best crowd control for sunflowers at least that i know of it got good reload time and decent damage its probably my second or first favorite only other flower i sometimes prefer is vampire flower

Nobody talks about Petrified Cactus because of the horrendously slow projectile speed. It's basically useless at range, where cactus usually dominates, because they can simply move out of the way of the projectiles, only taking 8-10 damage from the explosion. (The damage falloff on the explosion is very dramatic. I tested the character and the very minimum damage possible is about 3 meters away at 2.)
This is with no upgrades, by the way.

vampflower has better self sustain than all the other sunflowers combined but her low base hp makes her really weak to chunk damage
@@38mb.i mean hitting enemies constantly with primary weapon will cause you to heal, avoiding elemental effects such as fire. The biggest flaw I would consider is some form of huge attack; such as tank commander's primary, sprint tackle, pirates chipping at her. but from experience i can say she has a very useful gimmick in surviving 1v1s at close & midrange, plus the increased fire rate can make you hit monstrous levels of damage
