Really nice video, fantastic brake upgrade. First time visiting your channel, @STi_Alan brought me here. Anyway, clean installation and easy to follow. Keep up the great work Catalyst 4K!
The brake bias is off now. Don’t know why people slap brembos and STi calipers on the wrx. Only kits made specifically for the WRX booster is Stop Tech ST-40 and AP Racing
People talk about "brake balance" as if we are discussing "competitive race cars" with millions in budget and careers on the line. All after market brake manufactures sell a front only kit as a performance upgrade including Stop Tech. (ST-22) The OEM braking system behaves the same way no matter the press at the end of the hydraulic line. There's tons of videos of these swaps, BRZ, WRX, Legacy, Outback Forester and zero issue with "brake balance" especially issues a hobbyist has to overcome. This mod is done primarily for aesthetics, which is completely fine. (that's why I'm doing it) Road conditions, tires, brake pads, and somewhere down the list is the caliper, the calipers are mostly insignificant in normal driving speeds. There's been side by side test done and there's no significant difference in stopping distances in an emergency stop everything else being equal.
Babe wake up! Catalyst4K posted! 🙌🏼
