    Wonderful video, great tips! I have a doubt: what happens to the leggy part left in the pot after the callus if formed? Does it grow further?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes it will grow but it wont have a continuous growth like how it originally had ..it will still be stretched but the place we you did the stem cutting that will grow new pups at the side ...once those pups grow decent size you can separate them and the cycle continues

    Hi I just have a general doubt. I live in a humid area. Now the temp is like 38 or 39 sometimes 40 plus. I have placed my succulents where they get morning sunlight for two to three hours but covered them with a green cloth since the morning light is also too hot. Some started getting sunburn. Now I want to ask two questions. Here humidity is 58 percent now and it ll increase further. We sweat 24/7. I want to know the watering schedule and Is it ok to keep the plants covered with green cloth. Mine is a square stand and I have covered them completely with the cloth on all four sides giving some air flow.

      oh wow the temperature looks high ….watering remains the same the soil has to be completely born dry …but don’t wait for too long once the soil is dry …2 -3 days max now this is for summers..monsoon and winter you can wait bit longer after the soil is bone dry but again check and experiment accordingly to the environment…green net is perfect but make sure the green net doesn’t touch an of the succulents otherwise that can also burn the succulent

      @@LushGardener oh really. I didn't know that green net can also cause sunburn. that's something new. Will check that right away. And thanks for your reply. Sure it will help me plants.

      yes yes when it touches the leaves it gets burnt same with plastic too..yes just check 😊🪴

    As shared with me, echverias don't stretch if the watering is cut down, when the light source is a limiting factor, say indirect light and its located indoors.
    They don't die either, Infact they remain compact
    What are your thoughts about this Sir is this right or detrimental ? (technique shared by a friend).

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes that’s a good point but need to be careful we don’t underwater excessive…but the most important thing is nutrients ..if a person adds nutrients or fertiliser the succulent will stretch at a much much faster rate …so it’s very important to fix the light issues first

      Thank you Sir I follow your principle in general of not adding fertilizers at all... Coz the dormancy especially these days are tricky. 🙄

    My leaf babies are growing fast and leggy indoor. What to do?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      its due to lack of light ..offer them more indirect bright light but not direct sun yet
