I can relate with your sister. Clothes cost money and once it’s gone, it’s gone. It never fails that an occasion will come up that you need a garment for if you get rid of it. I have a lot of my clothes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. That’s what my attic is for. I’m going up there soon and have a great time! Full of treasures!
I can't help but laugh because this is sooo me! I just don't know how to let go! Love how your sister has a reason to keep most everything lol. You def have patience and good at keeping quiet. 😉🙃😅
She literally keeps so much I’m like GIRLLLLLL YOU WORE THIS MAYBE 4 YEARS AGO BUT OKIEEE. Haha patience and keeping quiet is something I learned over time that’s so funny you said that 😂
you need to do both hanger tricks, I turn all hangers and also return to the left and take from the right... I tend to repeat outfits and find this makes me pick stuff and style more of my wardrobe. I have all seasons together and have a lot, too. No judgement.
Lol I am like this too, I hang onto my clothes haha some stuff have come back around but others don’t. I do get in the clean out mode and get rid of lots when I get that mood.
Hi, love from Indonesia. I just want you to know that I really love every video you upload. I hope you continue to be enthusiastic about uploading videos whatever it is... I'm sorry I just remembered to comment because I was enjoying your video too much to forget to comment hahaha. (sorry for my bad english writing)
Awe thank you!!! I love uploading videos I just am so busy with my full time job during certain months that this hobby is pushed to the side but I am glad you love them! I will always upload, I just want to make sure the content is also not rushed and engaging so sometimes it takes longer to finish :)
If you are trying to help someone declutter their wardrobe by letting go of clothes they don't actually wear, you are asking the wrong questions. Your sister is not in the mindset to actually let go of clothes. Therefore, you need to frame the questions differently. Start with two piles. Have you worn this in the last year? Yes or No? From those two piles, start with the easy pile, the yes pile. From yes pile, do you still love this item and will you wear it again in the next 6 months? This will weed out those clothes that she may have worn but no longer reflects her style or doesn't fit like she likes or she doesn't feel good in. Then go through the pile she has not worn in the last year and start to figure out why with each item. Does it fit? Create the try on pile as you have. Does it still reflect your style? Do you love it but have nothing to wear it with? Does it fit your current lifestyle? She may be hanging on to clothes of a fantasy life or a life she used to have. If she still loves them and hopes to wear them one day, pack them away for an agreed timeframe and see if she misses them. Also, have her turn her hangers backwards for a season and forwards when she wears an item. At the end of the season, she will see what she didn't wear and can ask the same questions of herself again. The more she whittles down the selection to what she loves, wears, fits, and reflects both her current lifestyle and her current style, the easier getting dressed will be.
Hey, we did exactly this! I just cut out a lot of conversation because I had 8 hours of footage. I actually have previous closet clean outs giving the same advice but for myself. She’s a grown adult I’m not going to force her to get rid of clothes and cause a fight. Sister fights are noooot one to mess with. Also she did clean out her closet before moving and really just wanted help organizing and unpacking with a little decluttering in her defense.. She did put a pile to the side to do try ons but we didn’t have time to get to reviewing it together! Anything she wasn’t sure about she has in a closet that if she doesn’t go back to she’ll get rid of after each season. I do appreciate you taking the time to give this advice, maybe it will help someone else who is more decisive and not a libra like my sister 😂🥰

Yes you can wear the pink, green and white dress to a wedding. It would look so cute! Love this video. I had to do the same thing with my sister.
Ty for your opinion I will pass it to her 😂 always so fun to hang and talk about clothes together 💕

Sister has to justify keeping each piece.
😭😂
The most useless declutter
Nowhere did I say this is a declutter video 🤷🏻♀️
