English for Mining Professionals at The University of Denver Colorado - July 2020

The program will run for 4 weeks in July 2020 with 15 hours of direct classroom instruction each week. Throughout the program, participants will take program-specific classes focused on U.S. business culture, mining terms, and the mining industry in Colorado. The program will also focus on improving all English language skills (speaking, writing, listening, and reading). Participants will attend morning English classes and attend afternoon lectures by industry professionals. Additionally, program-specific activities will be offered, including a trip to an experimental mine.
The English Language Center will also arrange weekend cultural activities including a tour of the University of Campus, the city of Denver, and visits to Denver area museums.
