That is what I was thinking about as well. Sure, the Eagles got shot down, but they did succeed in getting LS off of the Galaxy, which presumably either went about doing whatever it was sent out to do, or was intercepted again by LS’s allies.
Replay this scenario, with GS as the F-15.....then let's take a look at how it ends. This really does good to show that anymore, the Pilot is the difference.

The paint scheme on the C-5 brought back memories before they introduced the camo grey. scheme. I know this just a digital simulation. My only comment negative in this senerio is typically Russian, Chinese, and Iranian fighters try to force all NATO aircraft into and not away from their airspace. So you basically was simulating the Russian AF using NATO tactic. Its minor and insignificant I know... But its just to bring up the point that technically no NATO aircraft will fly away if its in international airspace. Pilots are trained unless ordered to diverert or deter from their flight plan. Thats why years ago a Chinese Mig that got "Ginsued" by a Navy Reconaissance Aircraft. The Mig tried forcing the Navy Recon plane into their airspace. NATO tends to deter potential threats by escorting them out or away from NATO airspace. Just a little bit of useless information. Keep Up the Awesome Job Bro!
@@maitreytelang2312 Both are very minor. Some extra drag and weight, but we're talking small percents here. And some planes benefit from having weight on the end of their wings to reduce flutter.
dumb question. How to create an intercept mission with bombers/transporters not running away when I approaching them? Every time when I approach them they will start maneuvering and try to escape.😢
If the US plane is near the border but not over it wouldn't that mean that it's still where it's supposed to be, and that the Russian plane is violating another nations airspace to catch and meet up with it????
Definitely flown like a Ruscist pilot! As for "not supposed to be here, he's getting close to the border", he can go wherever he likes if he remains in international airspace, within US airspace, or airspace of another nation with their permission. Sure, if he is in international airspace and he's close to your border, then you can (probably should) intercept and escort him, but that does not excuse the use of unprofessional tactics (the likes of which are commonly used by Ruscist and Chinese pilots). If however he was _not_ in international airspace, then you would have invaded the airspace of another nation to intercept him!
This long shot guy has got to be using cheat codes. There's no way he beat two eagles that close to him with amraams. There's no way. This guy gotta be using cheat codes to obviously make this video. I've seen past videos him getting killed by two eagles in a flanker before.

The Eagles were killed, but the mission is a failure. The C5 was not deterred as far as I can see.

LongShot on Flankers is like Bruce Lee on Nunchucks. Over wield, overkill. One of the best DCS content I've seen so far.
F-15's screwed up, didn't need to light you up with their radar. The cons of the C-5 were a locating beacon.

I think the Eagles lost this by giving you too many openings for maneuvering. They should've kept pressing you after firing.

The F-15 RADAR can break you out at 50 miles. If you want to be inside the res-cel you need to be on their wingtip.

they deny range information from a long distance (>20 miles), and help to counter fox 3s as they jam their radars
