Not embossed, I want to say they are laser engraved, thats what it appeared like with the white flake so to say that rubbed off on my hebegbs. Honestly I thought it was cleaver and a great way to brand the wheels, but as the wheel wears (especially around the lip) it will get very rough feeling similar to flat spots when you roll on the edge of your wheel. I had Geoff make me custom hubs because at that time of purchase I just bought Bones Swiss Ceramics and wasn't wanting to buy new bearings again, nor do I like micro's. lol Pics are on my facebook if you go back a few years.
