    Those two minutes of introduction were so on point. Couldn’t have expressed it better. I too have experienced reading like a meditation, it calms down the brain immediately. Great tips!

    Thanks to this video I realised that distancing from distractions is just temporary instead i should train my brain to be able to act for me, and not seek easy entertainment like videos for countless hours.
    Leaving this comment as a reminder for self.

    In my case it is the opposite, I was too much into movies and web series in the last few years but after reading Great Expectations by Charles Darwin in the school library, my views towards books changed and I started reading more books but all my friends were still recommending movies or web series but due to reading thing, now I feel left out around my friends because we have different interests.
    So for me, reading books has changed me for good but also made me an introvert and got the tag of boring person.

    Why do I feel bored while reading books ??

    • @BeingCurious20
      @BeingCurious20 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Because your brain expects instant gratification that you gets from scrolling mobile phone and not from reading books...So sometimes it gets boring

      @@BeingCurious20can u suggest some life changing books .note I have completed some books like rich dad, atomic habits,psychology of money etc

    • @monkeydluffy4963
      @monkeydluffy4963 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      So what happens is the books are just texts, a lot of text, and hence it does not provide our brain entertainment as much as visual things does...As mentioned in the video reading is difficult for the brains that have turned lazy and seeks for easy pleasure like watching videos.
      And if you are new to reading your brain will seek for the easy entertainment, i would suggest start with books that are not too long and easy to read and pick the genre you think are interesting, also be consistent ,then once you are used to the feeling of finishing a book gradually you can increase the book thickness and it will all work out.
      All the best!!
