We did not take any in depth videos or pics of the wiring so we do not have anything to post video wise to help you. What we would suggest to make your life easier is to purchase an amplifier integration harness. There are a few companies that offer those, for example PAC has a LPHTY02 and Metra has a LOC-TYH2. They will simplify the wire connections for adding an amplifier. Please note that these harnesses only work on certain newer Toyotas that do not have a factory upgraded sound system.
We hand build all of our custom enclosures. Due to time constraints on the installation of this vehicle when it was at our facility, no templates / molds were made for this vehicle’s sub box. With the amount of various shaped pieces and level of the installation process we would require your vehicle at our facility to build a trunk corner enclosure like this.
@@sorealsounds Sounds like you may have shot yourself in the foot. You are no where near me, so me taking the time to drive or ship my car for a "custom" box to be made is 100% out of the question. I can't be the only person looking for a OEM looking ro an OEM looking sub install that's not going to eat up my trunk space.
@@broderp We did not shoot ourself in the foot. All we did was explain how we do what we do in the care of this enclosure. We understand if someone is not close that it would drastically more costly. You are not the only one looking for an enclosure that does not eat up trunk space, just like the client in this video.
Thank you! Definitely do able to yours. Just make sure your system has a quality DSP that can correct all pass filters and input EQ so you can correct the nonsense in the factory radio output. If your are near our facility swing in and we can discuss in more detail.
Do you guys do just sub installs? I'm happy with the JBL system, but would prefer to have a modest sub to control the low end and redu e the load on the JBL's for a cleaner, deeper bass sound.
Is the car equipped with the 8 speaker jbl or base 6 speaker? Cause I’m thinking of upgrading my JBL speaker in my prime but don’t know if they are compatible like the base one
This model was the 6 speaker. Any vehicle with any audio system is compatible with upgrading audio as long as you are using a proper DSP like one used on this installation.
@@supportyou10 we used the Metra 82-3016. It is a GM dash mount speaker adapter. With very minor modification to the adapter it worked well. If you do not plan to fabricate your own adapter that Metra adapter will work.
Yesssss a video!!! I can actually say this Prius looks nice.great job
Thank you! Definitely the best looking Prius they have made to date in our opinion.
Are there any concerns to worry about regarding current draw considering it’s a hybrid or are you good to go like a standard vehicle.
Not with this 8 channel DSP amplifier.
Please help! Can you make a video of the wiring job?
