This video... it’s beautiful. I share the same thoughts as you. I’ve loved Theo since season 5. He’s a product of his environment. It’s not like he wanted to be this way, but by the time he realized it, he couldn’t back out. He HAD to finish what he started, or he would see himself as a failure. I’m sure he still does. He spent majority of his life with the Dread Doctors. He couldn’t show emotions because thy would use it against him, but he couldn’t keep the walls ups towards the end of season 5. 6A really showed it. He’s a changed man. Hell changed him, I mean, how could it not? You know he suffers from ptsd from the flashbacks he had, those flashbacks are a constant reminder to him that he WAS a monster, all the things he did, all the mistakes. It will haunt him for the rest of his life, it’s his demons. Liam is the one that saw that he is changing, Liam is the one that gave him a second chance when no one else will. I feel like Theo believes he owes Liam everything. I wish we had thiam as endgame.

It was nice to see how Theo turned to be in that way, not how they did (throw him without a background or a reason to understand his character). I've seen other characters in his shoes. From chapter 1 to 5 is about Theo and other characters in his shoes. I feel the same way as you do about Theo. He´s my fave character as well, and I love him so much. I´m happy you noticed how Liam changed him too. I love Thiam so much (romantic or platonic, you can´t ignore the love they have for each other). Theo Raeken isn´t a bad guy. He´s a good kid that was tainted by what he had gone through.
Everything you wrote... I did read the whole text. And it is like I would have written it. You are so right. Theo is like my favourite character too. Let me tell you, at the beginning, when I watched Teen Wolf the first time, I didn't have a clear opinion about him. He was like that even when he was 10 years old! 10!!! He is in pain. Maybe he is it even now. But he has Liam now. And I'm glad about that. I love this and I love you preach about Theo. He was manipulated and believed it was the way to live, he was only eight when his sister died. Most eight year olds don't even know what death is at that age, but the dread doctors they got to him. Made him to believe it was right. That having that power and control was okay and the only way. I think near the end he began to break, and realized it. Literally him yelling for Scott to help him broke my heart, still does every time I hear it. But in hell you could tell through each encounter with Tara he began to change. Began really realizing his mistakes. Throughout season 6A and 6B I wanted someone to notice Theo. So when Liam did notice, I was ecstatic. He saw Theo change even if both of the idiots are to stubborn to admit to that. They both helped each other grow. Also ima just say a little fact about how multiple times anchors are brought up. Liams anchor was thought to be Hayden but there were times Hayden couldn't calm him. (Don't get me wrong I actually was fond of Hayden and Liam in the beginning, but at like season 6A I was like more...digging them as friends? Not gonna lie I was kinda happy puppy mode when she left. Mainly cause by then I was in love with Thiam.) But when Hayden left he didn't have his anchor until Theo started lingering. He helped Liam even with his sudden rage outburst. This may sound like a toxic relationship way to phrase something but both of them took their anger out on each other. Strangely enough it also brought them closer in my eyes. They never took the other actions to heart as it got closer to the end. I think that's why Theo realised with Liam he was beginning to mentor and show his true colors. It help him change faster, I also like to think it even helped him with his PTSD. Idk that's my thoughts lol. I wished THIAM happened, it just made so much sense. Side note , you know a show messed up on a good endgame when my mom - Who is a strict Christian- end up shipping thiam and got mad when they didn't get together.
you are so right! that's exactly what i think. his arc really is the best one in my opinion. in the beginning, i actually liked liam and hayden together because i thought it was cute with the broken nose and stuff but then i rewatched season 4 (before season 6 was out) and was like... what was i thinking? 😅 i just feel like they were together just for being together. theo and liam's relationship on the other hand was truly beautiful and they both brought the best out of each other, even when--like you said--it was by taking their anger out. and your mom is now officially the best person on earth! they did deserve to end up together. or at least, we deserved to know if they were going to stay friends even though theo seems to be out of the pack and wandering around on his own.
literally everyone thought i was crazy when i said “deep down theo has a good heart” but idk how they didnt feel heartbroken in the car scene. no one ever took care of him so he tried to be somebody. a succesfull chimera, something special. but no one gets that anyways.

The whole reason Liam tried to kill Scott was because he had very little control over his powers yet, he has IED, it had been a supermoon and Hayden way dying. Theo had barely anything to do with this, if anything. Also, Kira sent Theo to his own personal hell because of the skinwalkers (now I haven't watched to 6th season again yet) but did anyone of the pack ever questions why Kira did this? Did they even care? It just happens and no one ever talks about it again? It almost feels like they just forget about it. And after Liam brought Theo back, where was Theo living? Like I know they mention that he had been homeless in season 6b but rationally seen Theo would have been homeless from the moment he came back. Is it ever shown where he had been living in season 6a? And from what did he lived? I mean he hadn't any money income, had he? Are these plotholes, or did I missed aynthing?

I'm literally working on a story because I just couldn't take it anymore. I just couldn't see him suffer any longer. The way Scott and the others treated him. Like Scott always said: we don't kill. Scott said that the chimeras are victims. And yet they didn't cared about Theo. People got second, third and forth chances left and right. But Theo didn't? Why? Why didn't he deserved this? He was literally the only one Scott actually knew from before. They went to 4th grade together. I just don't get it. If you watch season 5 closely you can see Theo changing from episode to episode. And when the Dread Doctors didn't needed him anymore in season 5b it was so obvious. The moment Theo told Stiles in the sewers that he had been just 9 years old, had still believed that Santa Claus was real, so when they told him that his sister wanted him to have her heart, he believed that too. He literally said that he had no idea what he had been actually doing to his sister. Or when they tried to free Mason from the Dread Doctors in the woods? Theo nearly cried when one of them had called him a failure. And in the end they still sent him into his own personal hell. Killing is bad? Then what about freaking torture, Scott? That is suddenly okay, or what? I'm so damn pisses off. So, I'm going to give him what he deserves in my story. Because my character, she sees it. She sees him struggling and she isn't going to let him down, because she knows what it is like. And she will be damned if she can't do something, anything to help him.

I always wondered what happened to theo when he was younger that made him so power hungry, was he not the favourite child to an extent where he would actually eliminate the competition. Did someone make him feel so weak that he would kill his sister just to prove them wrong. Maybe it was to protect himself from something or someone, I'll guess we'll never know what happened. Might just be me but I refuse to believe Kids are just born evil.
