The neck gaiter does 3 things i believe 1- to protect your neck more 2- to wear as a normal snood for a high quality one and 3- over the top to make it look more tacticool and warm in the winter weathers

Honestly, i have seen these types of design everywhere, but like you also pointed out, never liked them because i dont want to leave my nose exposed.
For this reason and to save money on such a thing, i took a padded normal mesh mask, cutted away everything apart from the front mesh, and made this sort of insert that i can use with whatever i want, mainly a very breathable neck gaiter.
Extra comfortable since im now running a helmet, if i need to remove the mouth pro to take a sip of water or similar things
I think the neck-thing is a standalone design. However I don't know, because I don't use these kinds of products, since I can't imagine that they are vented enough. I'd rather take a neck hit than to cook off.
However, teeth protection is a must, I've seen way too many old airsofters with missing teeth :D

I have the Delta Mike version of this. Its OK at best for myself. The padding around the mesh is super thick on that one - like cushion thick. I also wish the border/width of the thickness was narrower. It ends up covering most of my mouth and than it also pushes into my nose. Goggles fog up right away with that brand of mask. Its good either way.
I wonder if this is any different.

You should try out the delta Mike face pro it’s the same consept but it’s kinda different have a look anyway mk2 you can get over your nose but i personally don’t like it like that

I would've considered buying this if it covered my nose. I've been playing airsoft for almost 2 years and only been shot once on my nose, I thought my nose was bleeding since the pain lasted for almost 10 min lol. I ended buying the Lonestar mask since it covers my nose but never got it. The company/warehouse is in the UK so I understand the wait time, but It's been almost 3 months since I orderd it and they won't respond back to any of my emails :(

I can recommend a place that I'm thinking on going on to buy one it's like cygnus but they have 2 different variants it's called valhalla and i swear this isn't a promotion but they look mostly the exact same as cygnus but production takes a few weeks
