Her voice and her writing is so underappreciated, damn. She is a true warrior from a viking dynasty. I hear Björk, I hear Dolores, I hear Karin Dreijer, but this girl is so young and she has so much power and wisdom already. I can only hope she stays true to her inner journey.

I second that, this song is actually one of my favorites in Aurora's musicgraphy. She never do bad song, she is really born for this. How many times I re-visit her performances. I always amazed by her. Its already 5 years since I know her & I still don't see other artist like her character & persona especoally off stage.

I have to admit I was not sure about the new album after Queendom, but I absolutely love this song. This seems like the vulnerable and genuine heart that made me fall in love with her first album. I am so proud of her; she sang in Norwegian! She said she might never do this publicly because it made her feel too vulnerable. Conquering this fear shows amazing growth for her as an artist and a person. The Norwegian part is also some of the most challenging vocal intonation I've ever heard from her, and she nailed it.
I'm sorry to tell you it isn't Norwegian that part of song. It's more like a wordless singing.

When I put it into Google, it translated from Norwegian, Icelandic and Danish (all are somewhat similar in many ways). There may be some proper nouns or slang, because a few of the words did not translate properly.
Auroras live/acoustic performances are simply amazing. Better than a majority of the studio versions, the studio versions lose a unique quality that's so beautiful. This quality is what made me fall in love with Aurora and her music. It's almost spiritual.
I have never agreed with anything so much in my entire life. I've watched her Lollapalooza Brazil 2018 performance and her Nidarosdomen performance wayyy more than I've listened to her first album, and I listened to it a lot.
Her Oslo and Stavanger performances are also gold. There's just something so honest and real about her live / acoustic performances. She brings such energy and life. Definitely preferable to the manufactured sound of a studio. Lol its probably the fault of her producers. (Sorry producers! Release an unedited live album please!)

I feel this so much! I took the risk and lost the love and the friend, because he never felt the same for me like I felt for him. I was not important for him as he was important for me. I find my selflove and the love of other friends who really like me for I am and not because I do what they want. 😊 I find true friends through my broken heart. There are very little number of artists who let their emotion flow like she does. I'm touched by her personality. Amazing. One of my teachers said, it's not only her throat that does the singing. It's the whole person. Oh god. I'm not able to control my joy While she sings, she makes me emotional. Thank god for bringing her to this World.
My first concert was Aurora. She came to Columbus, Ohio when I was teenager, before she blew up. I got to go back stage and she signed my Demons album case, the cd itself and the lyric packet. I got to hug her and you bet I cried then and I'm crying now.

I have always preferred the acoustic versions of her songs.

An absolute mesmerising production, I am amazed by the cameraman's single rolling shot for the entire song, minimal editing, just pure music and enjoyment for the moment
Whenever I feel sad, unease, depressed, having anxiety, I immediately play Aurora's masterpiece. This is pure healing.
The fact that there are Artists out there in 2020, that actually write lyrics and compose music, instead of just shoving their tits and ass while autotuning, fills me up with peace, serenity and belief that not all hope is lost for human race.
I'm right there with you, but I think part of it is that sex sells, so many artists go that route for easy mainstream exposure. It's an easy way to get noticed, so I'm sure that many are tempted themselves, and no doubt many are pressured by record execs.
