Barbados Acerola Cherry is native to West Indies, Central & South America. Now it can be found in Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Philippines too.Scientifically it is known as Malpighia emarginata. You can eat the fruit. It taste's sour and has acidic taste as well. The fruit is rich in Vitamin C !
