After season four, I felt like it got a little out of control
I find that true for most shows
I mean yeah but it was still fun to watch
I stopped watching after Sons of Garmadon
The last full one I watched was 8 I think. After that is when I say it gets to weird
I stopped watching after Day of the Departed
or Season 7
I feel seasons 1-4 had the best laid-out arc honestly. Chen was retconned pretty well, and Season 4 was also the last time the serpentine war played an important role in Ninjago. I guess Possession was also fine since the cursed realm was opened in Season 4, and Nya becoming the water ninja was foreshadowed in Tournament of Elements since a master of water was shown in a flashback. Since then, however, there have been numerous villains with different motives who either randomly come to attack ninjago city, or the ninja inadvertently release themselves (which, by the way, happened in seasons 11 and 12). The later seasons, while entertaining, seem much more disconnected compared to each other. Maybe placing some seasons in different locations instead of ninjago city all the time would freshen things up and make the series more realistic honestly. Ninjago is a huge place, and while it's likely there are evil characters all over, it becomes somewhat messy and even cliched when it's ninjago city getting attacked all the time.
seasons 8-10 are all well connected to each other, although you might mean connected back to the original three seasons?
@@bclubofawesomeness2894 yes, it just seemed like villains showed out of nowhere and new artifacts and places were introduced and tons of things were retconned. i'm glad ninjago continues to be produced to this day, but it has a similar problem to star wars legends.

Have you watched ninjago dragons rising? It's really good! I recommend you watch it! It was made in 2023!
I remember when I watched Season 1, It was so climatic. The Great Devourer (I really don’t know how I remember his name, Ninjago really found it’s way to pin itself in my mind) and the Ninja’s having to fight the Great Devourer hyped me up. Especially when the Great Devourer left Jay’s parents junkyard. And when Garmadon stole the 4 golden weapons and used them to defeat the Great Devourer but then disappeared. I also loved how the dragons left, them leaving just make me more on the edge of my seat. I was like a 1st grader when I watched it and I remember the season like i watched it yesterday. I loved one of the next seasons final episode. Where Lloyd faces his father when his father took over the world with this shadow dragon and all hope was lost until Lloyd became golden or something. He defeated the dragon. I loved the Brown Ninja that season (I don’t remember his name). Also, the Serpentine were such great villains! They were so funny, I literally hated how Pythor treated the other blue snake leader (forgot his name). Season 1 had so much plot. From how Llyod opened Pythor’s prison, Pythor gathering his species, Wu reminiscing about the old days Garmadon was actually good, Zane’s back story, Us knowing everyone’s parents, Nina (is that her name?) being a samurai, Lloyd becoming the green ninja, and the Great Devourer. I will never forget how excited, and scared for the ninja’s I was when I saw the Great Devourer eat Wu and Pythor. Great 1st Season! I also loved when Zane sacrificed himself a few seasons later. And Pythor’s return! :) Loyal fan since Season 3 right here 🤚

Bro at first I didn't like the redesign so I didn't really pay attention when watching the new seasons, and now I want to watch them again but they got taken of Netflix (in the Netherlands at least) but this was actually a massive help with understanding how everything happened.

I love that Wu just doesn't seem to care, whether it's being eaten and coming out of the Great Devourer, getting his staff stolen, or Zane's sacrifice (which he doesn't even seem to notice). XD
Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master used the four golden weapons to create Ninjago. but when he died, his son Lord Garmadon sought to use the weapons for evil. So his brother, Sensei Wu, set out to find four ninja to collect them first.
Pilots:
It all began at Kai’s blacksmith shop, when the skeletons came and kidnapped his sister, Nya. Luckily, Sensei Wu showed up and defeated the skeletons. In order to save his sister, Kai began training to become a Ninja. Once his training was complete, he met the other three Ninja. Jay, the master of lightning, Cole, the master of earth and Zane, the master of ice. Then they began their quest to find the Golden weapons. They found the Scythe of Quakes, the Shurikens of Ice, and the Nunchunks of Lightning. While Sensei Wu and Kai went to look for the Sword of Fire, the skeletons came and stole the other three Golden weapons. Kai found the Sword of Fire and used it to free her sister but they encountered the shadow of Lord Garmadon. Luckily Sensei Wu saved them and he took the Sword of Fire to the Underworld. In the Underworld, Sensei Wu fought the skeleton general, Samukai. Samukai won but unfortunately for him, he tried to use all four of the Golden weapons at once, and they’re combined power destroyed him. This opened up a portal which Lord Garmadon used to escape.
Rise of the Serpentine:
After their victory the Ninja became lazy. Until they heard that Lord Garmadon had returned. However it wasn’t Lord Garmadon, instead it was his son, Lloyd Garmadon. So the Ninja easily took care of him. In order to get revenge on the Ninja, Lloyd released the Serpentine, but they betrayed him. Zane discovered he was a robot and found his true potential, Jay went on a date with Nya and found his true potential, Cole met up with his dad and found his true potential, Kai saved Lloyd from a volcano and found his true potential. Nya became Samurai X and Lloyd became the Green Ninja. By this time, Pythor had found all four fangblades which he used to reawaken the Great Devourer. A giant snake that was really, really, really, really, really hungry. The Ninja tried to stop the snake, but their elemental powers were useless. Lord Garmadon had returned and the Ninja gave him the Golden weapons, since he was the only person that could use them all at once. Using the Golden weapons, Lord Garmadon hit the Great Devourer on it’s weak spot, making it explode.
Legacy of the Green Ninja:
Lord Garmadon used the Golden weapons to make one mega weapon, but the Ninja defeated him and shot it into space. Lord Garmadon teamed up with the Serpentine, but they betrayed him. He then found the Dark Island, and met the Overlord who gave Lord Garmadon a new helmet which can control the Stone army. The Ninja found the Dark Island and they got new elemental blades which they used to defeat the Stone army. Lloyd tried to stop Garmadon but the Overlord possessed him and defeated Lloyd. This opened up a portal which the Overlord and Stone army used to get back to Ninjago. Lloyd fought the Overlord once again but this time he used the Golden Power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master. He defeated the Overlord and Lord Garmadon became good.
Rebooted:
The Ninja met Cyrus Borg who gave them the Techno Blades. As it turns out that the Overlord was still alive as a digital virus and he hacked into all the tech in New Ninjago City. Luckily the Ninja disabled all the power which shut down all the Nindroids. Lloyd and Garmadon were captured by Pythor and the Overlord began draining Lloyd of his Golden power. The Ninja went inside the Digiverse and used the Techno Blades to erase the Overlord virus. However the Overlord survived and made a spaceship to go find the Golden weapons. Luckily the Ninja were able to board the spaceship before it launched. The Nindroids found the Golden weapons but the Ninja were able to steal them. However the spaceship had been eaten by bugs and the Nindroids stole the Golden weapons back, leaving the Ninja stranded. The Ninja were able to build their own spaceship which they used to get back to Ninjago but it was too late. The Overlord had returned and now that he had the Golden armor, he was unstoppable. Zane sacrificed himself to destroy the Overlord and all the Nindroids.
Tournament of Elements:
After Zane’s sacrifice the Ninja got a message saying that he was alive. So in order to find Zane they entered Master Chen’s tournament of elements. However this was just a trick to get all the elemental masters in one place. Chen stole everyone’s powers and used them to turn his followers into Anacondrai. The elemental masters tried to stop Chen but he was too powerful. Luckily Pythor brought Lloyd the Book of Spells which he used to ban Garmadon to the Cursed Realm. This released the spirits of the Anacondrai generals who banished Chen and his army to the Cursed Realm.
Possession:
Lloyd was possessed by a ghost named Morro and the other Ninja lost their elemental powers. Morro also stole Master Wu’s staff which had three clues on it. The first clue was Airjitzu, so Morro stole the scroll of Airjitzu from Ronin. Since the Ninja didn’t get the first scroll, they got a second one from the ghost of Sensei Yang, but Cole got turned into a ghost. The second clue was the Sword of Sanctuary, and the Ninja found it first in the Cloud Kingdom. However Ronin betrayed them and gave it to Morro. The Ninja found the third clue, The Realm Crystal in the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. But they had to give it to Morro in order to save Lloyd. Using the Realm Crystal, Morro summoned an army of ghosts from the Cursed Realm. Lloyd tried to stop Morro but Morro trapped him in one of the 16 Realms. Luckily Nya unlocked her true potential as the master of water and she created a title wave which destroyed all the ghosts.
Skybound:
Clouse found the Teapot of Tyrahn and accidentally unleashed the Djinn Nadakhan. Nadakhan then encaptured Clouse in the the teapot. The Ninja were arrested for a crime that Nadakhan committed and are put in jail. Nadakhan stole the Realm Crystal and used it to bring back his pirate crew. The Ninja broke out of prison with Captain Soto, who gave them an map to the tiger-widow venom. However Nadakhan tricked Kai and Zane and trapped them into his Djinn-blade. Jay managed to get the tiger-widow venom but Nadakhan captured him. The other Ninja tried to rescue Jay but they failed. Nya was captured, Lloyd and Cole were trapped into the Djinn-blade but Jay managed to escape. Jay stole the Djinn-blade and freed the other Ninja. Nadakhan married Nya and was granted infinite wishes. He used these wishes to banish most of his crew and put a curse on Nya. Luckily the ninja lured Nadakhan into the open and Flintlocke shot him with the tiger-widow venom. However Nya was also hit with the venom and the poison killed her. Luckily, Jay used his last wish to reverse time and keep Clouse from finding the teapot.
Day of the Departed:
Cole tried to get revenge on Master Yang but ended up instead bringing him the Ying-blade. Sensei Yang used the Ying-blade to create a portal which would turn him human again. However Cole defeated Sensei Yang and went through the portal himself being human again.
Hands of Time

7:28 I like the fact that Emmet made a cameo on this video from The LEGO Movie franchise…I’m also starting to realize that since the The LEGO Movie spawned 2 spin-offs and the sequel, all four of these movies, including The LEGO Ninjago Movie, are connected into a universe called The LEGO Cinematic Universe… I know, I’ll admit. It kinda sounds like the Marvel Cinematic Universe but it is focused on The LEGO Movie series…

That last part with the nostalgic music just made me think of old Ninjago I'm talking season 2 and 3, those were the best and golden ages of Ninjago but the new season are cool too, I'm always open for change if it is reasonable and cool.
