Hi there Robert im in Bradford United Kingdom 🇬🇧 iv just got your channel and your brilliant showing you and your surrounding you show everything thanks from uk
This morning I went back to bed for a while because I felt a cold coming on, and watched some more of your videos. In one, you two decided because of the wet weather to not take the hiking trail near where you camped for the night. That was a very wise choice. I remember years ago a long-time bf and I went hiking at Starved Rock State Park, and it had rained lots the day before. The trail (which was downhill all the way to a steep ledge) was pure clay, and slick as a whistle! We instantly went down on all fours and grabbed onto every branch, whatever we could grab in order to stop! I bet we looked like clowns, but dang, that was scary at the time! Oh to be that young and dumb again! 😆
Thank you for documenting this trip and the cost of the camp grounds. What a beautiful trip. Coming from Pennsylvania now in San Diego, I missed the green trees and the scenic drives. All we have here are brown colored mountains. lol. I'm looking forward to the day I can travel back to the East side of the US. I do have a Class B Coachmen Beyond but to get some time off from work and to travel like you is almost impossible at this time. Watching your videos gives me hope.
I try not to stay at KOAs because they are usually hit or miss, more on the miss side! But that one you stayed at was very nice. I have t stayed at a Loves yet, but there again they are hit or miss. There is a new one in Normal IL that is particularly nice and huge! Another great video Robert.
Hi Robert-That was our Dutch Star ⭐️ you parked next to at the Washington PA KOA -We wanted to meet you so much but you weren’t out yet and we had to go meet up with family-I hope we will be able to meet you someday-it was a thrill to see you next to us and our Motorhome in your video this evening-Happy travels-we love watching your videos ❤️⭐️🚌🇺🇸
Getting close to the old stomping grounds in this video. I used to drive I-26 when it was a two lane US-23. Just imagine crossing those large mountains between Mars Hill NC to Erwin TN at night on a two lane road. The interstate is a big improvement. The 2 rest areas on I-26 near the NC / TN state line are some of the best in the eastern US.
We just picked up our new 2024 Nobo from Lancaster Pa last weekend, and drove the same route going back west to Pittsburgh. If you’re ever in the Allegheny national forest area, please check out the Flying W ranch in Kelletville pa. They have a lovely campground on a horse ranch nestled next to a creek, river and gorgeous Mountain views.
🎶On the road again...🎶 Gee, it seems like we were just in Alaska 🙂. At the lake, "if I ever get a boat"...heh, one of these days, eh? Love the drive through the Smokies, so relaxing. Too bad you had to cut your friend's guest stint on vocals and maracas short...it sounds pretty good! I'm a big fan of vintage farm machinery, so I'm looking forward to your visit to the Farm Science show next week. Until then, happy trails!
Okay, I just finished watching this video, and enjoyed it so much! My mom was born in Canon, GA, and then grew up in the Gastonia, NC area. Isn't the scenery just magnificent, and the people so incredibly kind and friendly for the most part? Your wife is so pretty! You two make a very handsome couple! Loved seeing your friend Roberto getting on stage and singing! Happy trails my friend!
What a very peaceful and relaxed video. Love seeing the reality of going where the road takes you, not knowing what experiences you might encounter, good or bad. There is always something exciting about not knowing where the night may fall along the way. Nice little pause seeing the countryside of small town America float by and settle the usual hurried (but necessary!) pace, and great seeing you guys hang out with old friends as you made your way to Pennsylvania. A little behind on my viewing habits, but rest assured, not forgotten. This was a really nice episode. Thank you!
At 3:18, I was surprised to see you at Alt27 turning onto Beach Road. I was there for 2 weeks assisting with the cleanup. There was a lot of trees down, for sure. This is just south of Perry, FL for those that don't know. Beach Rd leads to Keaton Bch and Cedar Island. An interesting and beautiful place. The drive through GA into NC was certainly reminiscent, like a homecoming of sorts for me. I enjoy the soft music, too.
There is a very new Love's RV Stop in Demotte, Indiana at I65 and IN Rt 10. Set up is also like an RV Park. Edi: If you ever stop here, there is a fried chicken place on the west side of the Interstate called "Krispy Krunchy Chicken" inside the Citgo gas station. The best fried chicken I've ever had, the big three: KFC, Church's, and Popeye's can't hold a candle to it, IMHO.
Hello Traveling Robert 😎😎, I've enjoyed the trip and can't wait to see where we end up. I have driven to many of the attractions on last year's trip. Looking forward to seeing much more. OUTSTANDING ROBERT 😎😎😎!
I am FINALLY going to Quartzsite on Wednesday! I got a van Robert! I'm super excited to go! I don't think your going this year since you just did the RV show so that's a real bummer...I'm so sad that I'm not going to get a chance to meet you! You are the VERY 1st YTBR that got me into all this and that led to me wanting to do van life and making videos! Thank you for all that, it's been already such a life changing experience!
Robert, I’m not sure if you’ve ever visited, but I’ve heard great things about Fredericksburg, TX in the heart of Texas hill country. Renowned for their wineries, there are over 60 wineries and vineyards to visit, along with dozens more an hour or so away. I’d love to visit one of these days, especially since it’s so much closer than Cali and Texas has its own charm. Could be a great trip! Happy Travels!
I live right across the river from Harrisburg, in Cumberland County…Always cool seeing places I see all the time. If you are ever in the area and need a place to moochdock, let me know.
We had a similar hurricane watching experience during Hurricane Ian but without the damage. We watched our cameras on our home in SWFL from 1,000 miles away until they went down. I feared that we had lost power (even though we had a generator) because of flooding or a tree falling on the house. Turns out we still had power as the generator had kicked on but the transfer had kicked us off the internet. So I took the first flight into PGD & went home where all that I needed to do was reset my router. All was well & only lost a hibiscus tree (which I replanted & it survived) & 1 cracked shingle. Very lucky considering we were 45 miles from the eye of Ian & 1 miles away from the storm surge.
Hi Robert .... I see you went through Athens GA .... The Home of the B52's!! .... I was looking for the Love Shack off the side of the road... in your video! I had a coworker that met Kate Pierson a few months ago. All of us enjoy your travel videos .... your cars seats about 20 ....Did you bring your Juke Box money???
These hurricanes 🌀 are not nice...our home 🏡 insurance has gone up 5x what we used to pay two years ago 😳...lots of homeowners dropped their insurance and are taking a major risk...awesome 👌 video 📹 by the way...
It’s Bo time! Bojangles is pretty good, especially the sausage biscuits. But Popeyes ‘ chicken is much better. Love the Cajun mashed potatoes & fried apple pie
I cecked yesterday. there is no Robert" checking into flamingo a or t loop. I have an alert if a "robert" in a winnie shows up, they will call marina office or find me on the vhf. so when you get here, i should know.
The Blue Ridge Mountains, what a treat. Yes, you are right to want a place there to spend more time. I am so glad the Florida RV Supershow is over, a week of overpriced bad ideas, sorry.
Robert, the last time Barb & I were at Cordele Love's they were building that RV park, but did not know it was going to be an RV spot. Per that location we have always been treated great there, one of our favorites. The mom/pop BBQ place across the road is very good too, have driven the semi onto their lot, it is tight. Per the small RV spots at Love's, the ones I know of are built while the location is being built, so not an after thought, just a way to keep the RV's and trucks separated and cleaner. The worse Loves we have been too is on South edge of Macon. The manager at that location is an a**. He may be gone, had a long talk with district mgr and he did not approve of how I and many others were treated. Back to Cordele, not sure why it was bad for you, hope just a bad day, regardless going to let the higher management know. Loves is still family owned (Native American) and how you were treated is not how they want to be known. Love's has become our favorite, use to be Flying J. Btw, do they let you have a free shower with your RV stay? That should be included and would allow you to have a longer, enjoyable shower, no end of hot water and they are clean and provide towels, if you need extra they will let you have that too.
@@TravelingRobert hopefully they will reach out to you. If I recall the manager at the Bellefontaine location, built after your visit is a fan of yours. I contacted corporate, but I will talk to the Bellefontaine manager too, I am sure they will take corrective action. But like so many places finding good help is getting harder and harder. We just went to an auction last week where the owner shut down because his good help is retiring and can not find any reliable help, so he stopped bidding on work. We could grow too, but same thing no one wants to work the hours we require, guess having the winter off does not make up for it.
@@TravelingRobert per manager at Macon, hope he was fired. Was not happy not being able to finish my shower, but he screwed up, my dash cam proved him to be a liar too.
Robert, I’m always so impressed at your exquisite ability to describe in your videos! I want to know the secret!! Any tips? (Please don’t say READ more?)😅
That's a lot of food for two people 😅. Your videos are always fun to watch. Very good narration. This video shows how slow things are in some of those towns. Five police cars sitting there while the tow truck removes a car. You only need one police unit to stop traffic. Safe travels.
One of my favorite features of your videos is the clips of traveling from the camper’s viewpoint.
Robert traveling every road in this land. What a dream

America truly takes your breath away - so much beauty in this land! So blessed to be here!
And you should fight to protect it. The most beautiful country(continent)
Striplings is the best! They have really good breakfast-in-a-cup
Agreed! The best. (I live 15 min from the one in Perry.)😊

Another 5Star video real interesting and educational plus fun! It is like I am traveling with you. Call me traveling STEVE?🍺🤪
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Love those small towns in Georgia and off the main expressways. Very well done.
Oh My we love your Videos! You have given my husband and I a shared interest after 23 years that is a huge gift. Thank you

Good Job backing in ! & Relax now Robert, no rush !
Loved those Georgia goodies. That will keep you going. I’ve heard Asheville is beautiful. Another city on my list. Happy Travels Robert.

I avoid driving into Atlanta everytime I want to drive to N Georgia. The secondary roads are excellent for photography opportunities.
I do that too, even with a semi.
Another great episode Robert.
We enjoyed the video to the fullest
Thank you for sharing Robert
See you on the road 👋
Beautiful! Gracias Robert por la música ;) Los casineros lo agradecemos mucho ;)

Such a wonderful video. Taking me back to my old stomping grounds.
Can't wait to see next week's video!

Coming soon
Ah, a fun journey. Thank you for sharing it!
Very beautiful Places Robert
Thank you for yet another great video! Happy trails my friend!
Love your traveling videos, Robert!
I wish you can make the videos an hour longer. Is fun watching your videos but they are so shorts.❤
Bucees is coming out west! Phoenix and north of Denver!
I really enjoy the video.

Only a few minutes from us going to Hershey. Maybe I'll go this year just to see you.

Florida would be a paradise without all the destructive storms.

Sending support as always.😊
Give them a year, they’ll have a whole new staff. Gas station life.
I know it's spelled that way, but Cordele is Core-dill (like a dill pickle) 😅 We're silly like that.
You need to spill more beans about the Loves. Trouble with getting propane?
Good Morning Pelicans

As of the day of this premiere, it is 19F in Asheville. I have a friend that lives close by, and he shared the temperature there on social media.
that is exactly what we go for, fried chicken, and you can get it any day now.

Is that where you got the the from
I was smelling that sausage through my phone.
I made me hungry again and I just had breakfast!!!!!
Surprisingly Georgia and Carolina are way better than Alaska!! ❤❤
Good choice to avoid Atlanta. Eatonton is the home of Uncle Remus.
The Blue Ridge Mountains, what a treat. Yes, you are right to want a place there to spend more time. I am so glad the Florida RV Supershow is over, a week of overpriced bad ideas, sorry.

I do use them. What's the issue?
