We love it when we catch our little dog doing her housework, her kennel outside is her Chateau, these animals bring such great joy, your projects are beautiful. I can only admire your crochet.
Glad to see you again. Your new sweater will be beautiful. Your blanket is beautiful, I would like to try making that blanket. All your work is gorgeous. 😊🙏👍❤
Tx you for sharing n love the yarn you used for the sweater,I crochet and would love to use . I also love everything you make, the colors you use in combination are truly lovely
How lovely to see your colorful Spicier Life blanket. I dream of the day that I can make one using one of the color packs. I used scrap yarn for my first one, and purchased a couple new yarns for the one I'm making now, along with more scrap yarns. I want to make one in EXACTLY the colors you used because I don't think anyone puts colors together better than you do. It's amazing. I'm hoping the more I watch your videos that some of that will rub off on me!
So looking forward to seeing your Anemone blanket completed. Such a lovely mix of colors. Delicate yet intriguing. Yay !!! Thanks so much for yet another inspiring episode 👏🏻☺️👏🏻
It was a lovely show to watch! 🧶 Whitmore sweater is going to be gorgeous! I I love the painted anemones pattern. It is brilliant! You should be so very proud. I’m already planning a second one. Thank you so much for sharing your talents. Hope you have a wonderful week 🌸stay safe
I have made three whitmores so far and one was with busy yarn similar to yours and it worked perfectly because the lace did show up but the plain stocking stitch in the body showed the pretty yarn up perfectly. I think yours will be beautiful. I do love the whitmore it’s my favourite jumper pattern and I will make a couple more xx
I finally got around to checking out your youtube channel and ravelry page. You do absolutely beautiful work. I had only known about the Battenberg Blanket from Craft House Magic. I've always been more of a knitter than a crocheter but your patterns certainly temp me to do more crocheting. Love the Anemone Blanket. Not sure when I'll get around to doing it but I have the pattern now so the only thing stopping me now is time. Take care!
Hi Sandra !!!! LOVED BERT ' sorting ' himself out - he is SUCh a DOLL ! LOVELY knitting - Basket Liner making ! You are SO talented ! and .... OH how I LOVED the rain ! SO COZY ! Hope You and Family are well and enjoying the GLORRRIOUS Autumn days ! All the best sweet gal ! XO marcia
Hi my lovely! Oh yes, he does have to get himself sorted. 😂. Thank you for such kind comments again and yes the cozy autumn days are lovely. Enjoy! ❤️🍁🍂
We’re heading out in the travel trailer in a couple of days so downloading videos to watch the road while I ride and crochet!! I know I enjoyed it and all your pretty things!!! 🧶💕🧶
Your painted anemones are so beautiful Sandra! 😍😍 Love your spice of life remix too and I think it will look even better with a wider border - great that you have some extra yarn available for that! Thanks for a lovely podcast! Xx
So lovely to start my day with you, you are such an inspiration for crochet. I am lovely your basket of anemones they are a beautiful delicate bouquet, I would really like to have a go at making those. I adore the colour of the yarn for your Whitmoor sweater and if will be fabulous for the autumn, I think it will look beautiful over a white shirt xx
Ahh thank you so much, that’s so kind! Yes a bouquet of anemone, that’s such a lovely image. I’m really enjoying them just as flowers at the moment, I’m not quite really to make a blanket from them. ☺️🤣❤️
Hellooo Sandra! Always a delight to see you with another fab video! Listening and watching while putting the border around my Nature's Walk blanket..I am thrilled my stitch count is correct🤗😂! And borders are all In have to do to finish my wips, so it was good timing that you talked about yours. As the finishing touch they are so important to get right!!! I'm sorry to hear about your back😩. Talk about throwing a spanner in the works, so I do hope that feels heaps better now! I loved the basket/ liner, so pretty and practical, and the anenenenomes!! I imagine that knitted lace pattern on the crop sweater will totally pop once you get several more inches done, gorgeous gorgeous yarn💖. Take care and stay well ! x 🌼
Ahh thank you so much lovely! ☺️. Well done on the stitch count, always a bit of a nightmare on a border. Hopefully plain sailing now. Yes I do like the border, although the rounds are loooong, it’s like the home straight. 😂❤️
Oooh! I am very excited about the blanket pattern! 😊 And I see what you mean about they yarn colour and the lace in the patters, but to me it looked really pretty! I could still see where the holes in the lace pattern were showing. What a gorgeous colour you chose! 🍁🍂
What an absolutely sweet treat you brought at the beginning of a new day! As always, you’ve inspired and delighted. I love the crop sweater, but I do sympathize with your conundrum. It could go either way, I think, but each would be yummy. The anemones are sweet - can’t wait to see the finished project. Take care.
I can't wait to see how the Autumnal Whitmoor turns out! I'm interested to see how it looks with short sleeves. I'll have to try to find the one you referred to on Instagram. :)
Nothing rally, it’s just handy to have a place to pop the ends when I’m weaving in and I sort of get a weird satisfaction in seeming them pile up during the project! 🙃
Where can I get the pattern for the Flower Garden quilt square? I’ve scoured your website, Alice Caroline’s site, all TH-cam videos about it, but no info! Only a whole quilt for sale on Alice Caroline’s site. Highly frustrating! No info on the BOM that you mention!
Hi! I just want the pattern to cut the pieces. I love your videos! So peaceful. I made the white lacy valance, so beautiful, it looked so pretty at my kitchen sink window! I’m a crochet fanatic, too! @@CherryHeart
Humm, good question. I’m not sure but I do remember stalking a few places to try and find it in stock somewhere. You can get some similar on Etsy but I wanted a UK seller which can make it a bit harder. Sorry, not much help!! ❤️
Thanks! Sometimes if I buy a pretty yarn or something craft related that I think you guys might like to see, the. I will show it in the podcast. An ‘incoming goodie’ as I call it. ☺️ (Goodie as in a treat) There’s been nothing new for a while though! ❤️
Thank you for sharing, I just had the loveliest break watching you podcast! ❤️ I think the Biffsugar yarn is totally stunning and fully understand what you’re going through right now. 😆 From what I see through the screen I think it would do a bit better with a simpler pattern, and the beautiful pattern with a more tonal yarn (maybe 4ply+Suri to tone down variegation?), so they can both shine.
I don't think the yarn you're using for the Whitmoor is the best, imo. It is a lovely yarn, perhaps if you held it with a light mohair, it'll turn the colors more subtle. If you don't want the mohair, I think a lighter colored yarn would be best, to appreciate the pretty lace design.
I have finished making my anemone flowers and green leaves. Starting on the white now.
Hi lovely to see you and your beautiful makes x
I love, love your necklace. Beautiful cardigan. I love mohair it is so soft. Many thanks for sharing. Take care. x Blessings x Mariana UK xx

The painted anemone blanket is lovely, as well as listening to the rain pattering on the roof! 🌼

Oh that’s good news! I think it’s looking better in mine too, as I’m continuing on and the pattern becomes more pronounced. ❤️

What will you do with your bowl of ends?

It was a Alice Caroline pattern. I subscribed to the BOM version a few years ago. I don’t know what info she still keeps on it.

Ahh you are welcome! ❤️ Yes I rather fear your may be right about the yarn. I sort of can’t face it at the moment and am ploughing on in denial! 🤣
Will there be a video tutorial on this?
For the Painted anemones do you mean? If is, not a video one no. All the information and tutorials are included the pattern for this one. ❤️
