I’m just into my second trimester with my second pregnancy, and my nausea this time around has been so much worse too! Felt such relief just knowing someone else is out there going through it too. Here’s hoping the second trimester is better! 🤞🏻💞
Congrats on baby #2! As papa Fink said, here we go again & I can't wait to meet your newest family member come Sept. Wishing you all the very best with your pregnancy & labour...when the time comes! 🩵🩷
I’m in the thick of first trimester nausea with my third baby and omg this has given me comfort knowing it won’t last forever (hopefully). So easy to forget how horrible the first trimester is. Congrats on baby #2! Xxx
I think I need one! hahaha I havent even seen an ENT yet but I have transient breathing problems and a visible polyp inside my nostril and alternating blocked airways so I know something is going on 😅 health care in this country is shameful...
Congratulation to your 2nd pregnancy. This is such special time where you'll experience the pregnancy in a much intensive way than your first (for me it was....) My 2 kids are also 2.5 years apart. I also thought 2 years would be perfect. But time flies by so quickly - suddenly my first kid turns 2 and I was not pregnant again..... In this time I had so much to do, that I missed it. But 2.5 years apart turned out perfect. So you will have a big brother with lots of bride and joyless from his side, bc he is older and much more aware what is going on. Wish all the best 😍
Huge congrats on your pregnancy, Lucie, and thanks for letting us in on the journey. Re: sinus infections, I used to get them all the time, and my doctor said I should get my tonsils removed. It’s been years since removing my tonsils, and I haven’t had one sinus infection since. 🤷🏻♀️
aah I had the sickness in my first (and only) pregnancy and it was awful! I'm so sorry you're experiencing this again :) do keep us updated on how things are going. Also Milo is so sweet!
Congrats on growing your family! I can absolutely relate to missing having your person to help care for you, it's a really hard transition. I found the most difficult part with two was the newborn phase. Normally, we do everything as a team but it was suddenly divide and conquer. It really felt lonely. I'm nearly 9 months into life with two now and we're starting to find each other again but it's been a long road. It's a beautiful road but has been a difficult adventure.
Week 8 sounds like what I went through in my third pregnancy this Dec 23. Completely agree that sickness and pregnancy should be outlawed the worst feeling ever and just like you never took any medicine but in order to be a mom to both my kiddos and just function during the day I needed to take care of me.
6th pregnancy here and I don’t have one ounce of nausea and it’s a healthy viable baby. I’m at 10w5days and I just want to eat all day, I’m soooo hungry. But let me tell you, I’m so emotional and so sensitive to everything. What’s crazy is every other pregnancy I was so nauseous and threw up all the time. Not sure how I feel about either symptoms but a healthy pregnancy is all that matters at the end of it all.
I am 27 weeks, and I can’t wait to hear about the rest of your pregnancy! Is there anything you are thinking of doing differently this time around as a mom/routines/baby gear?
Awww Lucie I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling so sick, I’ve been there and fully sympathise. It’s so hard when your battling with feeling ill and can’t enjoy your time with your first born, it will pass xxxx
Oh Lucy! I remember that feeling that at ANY MOMENT I could vomit. I felt like I was always holding it in. It’s the worst! I’m so sorry you aren’t feeling well!
My first baby is turning 1 on Tuesday, and I thought in my head that we would soon get ready to try for another. NO WAY, LOL. So I can relate to your thoughts! Also on the whole "gathering information" stage pre baby #1. Looking forward to following you through this pregnancy, and maybe revisiting whenever my husband and I are ready for another baby!
Lucie, have you read the book “Eve” by Cat Bohannon? She’s a great researcher from Columbia Univ. and her book is about “how the female body drove…human evolution.” Anyway, the book talks extensively (in really engaging terms) about reproduction in general and about what pregnancy does to a woman’s body specifically. Highly recommend.
Lucie, I've been following you for a while (at least since 2017) and I am so incredibly excited for you. I've loved watching your content grow and shift as your life has changed and I always enjoy watching your videos, even though our lives are quite different! (I know I don't want to have children). I'm wishing you a safe and easy pregnancy 💕 be well
About the sinus infections - I also used to have a basically constant sinus infection until I started using a netti pot daily! Since then I've had none! I know it doesn't work for everyone but its worth trying out!
Week 10 was so weird for me too! I felt so much better, and by the end of the week - I was vomiting and so wiped out. Week 11 has been so hard again. I don't know what's going on! I hope you are so much better now. Yes. Very related, what do I want to throw-up?
with the amount of information she was tracking and planning it makes a bit more sense compared to those who dont do all that, but I feel like they also have to just have really good quality gametes 😂 even when everything goes right and egg meets sperm its a 25% chance
So joyful 😊 2nd baby .My first trimester was ok until I started craving strawberry flavoured milk, I'd catch a train to work in peak hour everyday .One day I drank a lot of milk was running late for work made the train but when I got to my stop I felt woozy got off the train wishing the packed train to leave the station sadly I threw up all over the platform while the commuters watched .I was so embarrassed at least it was pink , I've never had strawberry milk again. 😅
I wonder if dry mouth mouthwash or dry mouth spray would help the taste in your mouth. Dry mouth can cause a bad taste in the mouth and those products help. Biotene brand recommended by my dentist
OMG i bet the exciting news is ALLIE also being pregnant! that would be insanely cute. You two twins having babies "together" 🙂

Huge advocate for the sinus surgery. Completely changed my life. Congrats on the pregnancy ❤

Your podcast is quite relaxing to listen to! And I'm not even pregnant or planning at the moment, but you're insight is always interesting

I don't think it's a long time at all actually. My sister just announced she is finally having her second child... 10 years after the first!
Milo is so cute!! And congrats to your 2nd pregnancy!
It's pretty amazing that you got pregnant first try both times. I haven't heard that much

@@rhi963 a lot of it is genetics and luck
I had kidney infection during my 2nd and 3rd trimester and had to do sooo many rounds of antibiotics. I feel you with the fear of infection.
Congratulations Lucie❤❤❤
Congratulations!

I can remember getting off the subway multiple times and vomiting into the nearest garbage can and ruining a few pair of gloves.
Cry baby bubble gum! It’s saved me many time both pregnancies
I hope I can find a Michael for myself some day😢

Is the news that Allie is pregnant too!?!?!?
that’s what I thought too!
@@makayla4292 It's her brother's wife
THE CRACKER TASTE 😩😩 the worst feeling. I chewed sour gum balls alll day to avoid it. Nothing worse than the first trimester 😭😭
