Miss Guam was supposed to be the winner here. She excelled in interview, swimsuit and evening gown. But there was no Q and A in the finals. IT WAS UNFAIR. She could easly shine in that.

I could just cry when I look back at how beautiful the pageants used to be! They were classy events and the girls looked ladies! It's nothing but a Bimbo fest now. One named ruined it: Trump! If only the new Presidents would look back at the pageants from this era through 1994 and bring the Pageants back to their former glory!
To be fair, the 1996, 1997, 2002-2005 Miss Universe pageants were good productions and these were already under Trump's ownership. If you must really point fingers to a source for the regression and bad years, it would be the organization and the producers, directors. They felt that they had to try new things with the times, but it was a huge mistake.

Miss Guam is very Asian
Miss Italy was not even top 10. Just a couple of years later the number of semifinalists was reduced to just 10 and she wouldn’t have qualified.
