Hello Pete! I follow you on instagram, facebook and youtube. I enjoy a lot your channel. It's very informative! I confess to you that I've never thought about going to Australia for several reasons. One of the reason was the distance from Brazil. I thought about going to Canada, England and the USA. But now, I'm very interested about your country. I'm looking for more about your culture, economy, weather and etc.
Thanks for the amazing video! I will be outraged if I miss this episode😂 By the way, could you also make a video about the expression of “happy” or some other positive emotion? :)
I find the Aussie accent extremely cute but also quite hard to imitate :D The sole fact that I’m struggling pisses me off so much. Drives me round the bend.
The last Chrissie time, when I was in Straya, I'd a breakie with my Aussie brotha, and he told me that his Roo is Gonna' boxin' with me this arvo, so it maked me furious🤣🤣🤣 (English is my fourth language)
I had topped up $40 on my phone, and 2 days later, I've been told there's no any credit left. I got pissed off, I called the sim card company, and the customer service lady did nothing but trying to find excuses, I nearly flipped out at her. At the end, she told me that there's nothing she can do, and I had to top up again otherwise I couldn't use my mobile date, that was my last straw.
My boss always says to me, If you don’t get the job done, I am going to lose my shit. So it seems like there are more than 30 ways now to express angry.
I went off at my kid when he threw a tantrum at the supermarket. A small question: "Mom got pissed off AT me" is in your video. Is "Mom got pissed off BY me" also idiomatic? It seems someone used BY on the Internet.
I got really outraged when I heard the party was called off I flipped out at them for calling me names My cousin blew up when he heard the story was all made up Her boss went off at Sara when she brought up her issues with some colleagues at the company meeting

Hello from France!
Thanks! very informative video!!!
@@AussieEnglishPodcast I like several of them but "piss (someone) off" is my favorite because is slang and a little vulgar, I think. (can I say that?)
@@AussieEnglishPodcast Actually, no! but I can consider that in the future!
More Aussie slang, idioms please! They are unique
Thank you
Thankx mate
Aussie English yesterday i blew up on my mate for making too much noise
This is a great lesson. I often hear people use the idiom "get on someone's nerves." Can we use this to mean to make someone angry???

Some adjectives that I can come up with are: joyful, pleasurable, statisfied/satisfying
Or I can simply say: I’m in a good mood.
Thank you very much for the lesson, but how about annoyed?
