Hold both of the balls in your hand. Wrap the rope from one ball over the back of your hand. Add enough extra length to this measurement to go around one of your balls one time. This gives you enough length, but should also give you enough room to tie knots and adjust where they are so that the balls ride over the back of your hand and clack together at the completion of the rotation in your palm.
