Hey thanks man appreciate the support🙏🏽 spares are rare to get hold of man, scrap yards are your best bet, if you’re in Cape Town there’s scrap yards in salt river that I’ve heard of that have pop ups in. Also keep an eye on Facebook marketplace slot of people are stripping or selling spares
@@lazarusoageng9786 hey man, lowering it by the torsion bar is actually the only way to drop it, but the shock mount mod is optional, doing that mod will just prevent your shocks from bottoming out. Since then I’ve raised the car back up because of my nature of work, I drive a lot and the roads aren’t favorable so my fenders rubbed a lot and my driveshafts also scrape on the frame Best to drive slow when you lower it like that 😂 I lower it for meets now but daily driving I leave it at a 1 and a half finger gap

I lowered my pop ups about 18 years ago. My nut ended up snapping off from the bolt. I then got entered tungsten bolts. 18 years later. Still lowered without issues. I have shortened shocks as well.
Yes! The mods that I did to the shocks are not necessary to lower the car at all. If you loosen those bolts under the car that I showed, it'll lower your car and thats all you need to do
I’m not entirely sure I haven’t lowered my rear yet, but from what I’m told you can use sleeveovers, and from the forums I’ve read, you need to shorten the panhard bar on the axle otherwise the lower you go, your axle gets pushed over to the driver side, so your driver side wheel will poke out the fender and the passenger side will sit inside the fender You can either shorten it by cutting it and welding it, or cutting it, welding a threaded rod in to make it adjustable, or you can buy an adjustable one from America, not sure if they sell any here

How do you lower the back but not with those china town sleeves,, like do you get coilovers for the rear of which cars wil fit for front and rear?
I honestly don’t know about that, mine are stock, and when I asked on a Facebook group about coilies, everyone said to use the sleeves

It’s got speakers at the back window yes, but not seat belts
