On the Uber Tax Summary, do you deduct the entire amount listed under, "expenses, fees, and tax"? If so, where would that amount be entered on your tax return?

Uber uploads a document with miles driven online vs on trip. Is that sufficient evidence how much was driven for Uber vs personal? Thanks

@@the7miledoggboss444 it is in irs website / for 2022 it was 57 cent I think . now becasue of infilation it is 65.5 .
well of course every car different every insurance different . irs took a average cost per mile
so if you want to go " standart deduction " the amount of milease you put
lets say 10000 mile . 10000*0.65.5 = 6500 so if you made 20000 that year and drove 10k miles . your taxable income is 13500
well of course there is other expenses that you can put but standart mileage deduction is preety good over all

I have a question. Please tell me should I claim Door Dash 'Total Mileage' 13, 816, or the 7018 for just pick ups and deliver miles. Should I leave the tracking app on until I log out and return home, since it covers before, between, after, or only use it for each pick up and delivery order?

You can’t deduct mileage at .63 per mile on the top of the other deductions
Only one needs to be considered

Yes, Uber does but if you look at your Uber tax summer issued on your 1099, it still show as a total gross income. Therefore, you have to claim that as an expense.

You said you the "fee" uber takes (aka their cut) is a deduction, but I'm 99% sure don't share that information. You'd have to ask every rider what they were charged and record it, which is obviously problematic.
